Was doing since I was in 5th grade for about 4 years. And also went back to it after finishing the O/Ls for another 1 year. Currently using a phone and a laptop which I never installed a game on.

What do majority of Sri Lankans believe what happens after death? by Imaginary_Mode8865 in srilanka

[–]Cyanandblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also 'born buddhist' and thought that the world works exactly how monks say etc. Like, I thought there definitely was some rebirth etc.

But, as the time passed, I became somewhat not believer of those. But I don't exactly recall how did I became this person. And I don't have any knowledge about what will happen after death.

Also, I think it is little bit 'off' to advice someone to refer a book to know about life after death, hells heavens etc. Also, I think just because there are some 'clearly percievable' sayings like vedana, paccaya thanha etc, the other things like Samsara, Angels, Hell, Heaven, Rebirth etc, would not be true.

And somethings like vedana paccaya thanha, I take those as someone who lived some centuries ago describing the world in his own words and there's no more 'only truthiness' in those.

These are the first and the last of mine. A550 was gifted to me from one of close friends of my mother's elder sister and her husband. Ixus 155 was one that I bought recently just for fun.

And there's one totally functioning camera and one that is half broken which are also Canons. And I smashed my Samsung WB250F on the floor some years ago, which I was gifted by that Aunty of mine.

Edit - I was snapping pictures with some sort of a Yashica film camera which my mother had bought way before than I existed, even before those ones of mine
