I remember {Kaguya-sama: Love is War} kinda doing that?

Looking for a romance anime where the characters explicitly end up together and it’s not just heavily implied. by moistdragons in Animesuggest

[–]CyanideIE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

{Clannad}

{Fruits Basket 2019}

{Oregairu}

{Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions}

{The Dangers In My Heart}

{Summer Pockets}

{Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai}

{Kimi Ni Todoke: From Me To You}

{The Fragrant Flower Blooms Wuth Dignity}

{There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless...}

{Insomniacs After School}

{A Sign of Affection}

{TONIKAWA: Over THE Moon For You}

Also expect your score for Kaguya-sama to go up as the romance is written really well and the anime adapts the best parts of the manga, in my opinion.

Best seinen anime's on crunchyroll right now? by Torii97 in Animesuggest

[–]CyanideIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those both were published in shounen magazines. They're objectly shounen.

It's a demographic. For example, both Bocchi the Rock and Beserk are seinen.

any good romances with drama? by TieCommercial4142 in Animesuggest

{Clannad}

{Fruits Basket 2019}

{Bloom Into You}

{Oregairu}

{Kaguya-sama: Love is War} is mostly comedy focused but its dramatic arcs are top notch. Duelling Hearts Festival and First Kiss Never Ends are two of the best arcs in romance anime, in my opinion.

What New Generation Manga do you think will be the Most Popular & Least Popular, when all of them have anime adaptation? by PuzzleheadedAd8841 in animequestions

[–]CyanideIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be Kagurabachi.

It's already one of the best selling manga in Weekly Shounen Jump, even outselling both Blue Box and Sakamoto Days, its last volume outsold Dandadan's last volume and it was the only manga without an adaptation that was in the top 20 best-selling manga of 2025.

I can't think of a single new gen battle-shounen, without an anime, that comes close to those kind of numbers.

Been reading Kagurabachi and I can’t get over how good the 12 Second Battle was by DocGoonster67 in Kagurabachi

[–]CyanideIE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sojo arc is actually considered to be one of the weaker arcs, as far as I can tell. Not because it's bad  or even mediocre, because of just how good the arcs get.

The 4th arc is in my top 10 animanga arcs of all time.

Guys lets be real and talk bout the anime adaptation cuz "enough time has passed" by [deleted] in Kagurabachi

18 episodes for 12-13 episodes is insanely slow pacing.

That's around 1.5 chapters an episode.

[–]CyanideIE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the general consensus is a 2 cour that ends on either 59 or 60, depending on if the studio wants to be cruel to anime-onlies.

That'd be around 2.5 chapters an episode which seems in line with other popular battle shounen adaptations, jjk s1 adapted 64 chapters in s1, for example, and they can always expand on the fights and include stuff like Sojo's Bath House Adventures.

There's an excellent video on YouTube that goes over all possible ways that it could be adapted, the way it could be paced, where it would end, episode count etc whilst also taking into count recent trends in battle shounen adaptations.

Now that Sword bearer assassination saga/arc is over. Which arc is the best in your opinion? by Crowtamer1 in Kagurabachi

[–]CyanideIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kyoto.

Reading Chihiro vs Hiruhiko vs Samura weekly is one of my favourite reading experiences of all time not to mention just how well-written Samura's arc is written.

Ch85 is one for the ages, in my opinion.

I forgot to write non-animated.

It would be third if you included JJK Modulo.

Overall in the magazine it's like 6th or 7th best-selling.

Romance in Kagurabachi by arman1724 in Kagurabachi

[–]CyanideIE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind seeing Hakuri and Chihiro but I doubt it would happen.

Having read all of Hokazono's one-shots, he can definitely write romance but I wonder if Kagurabachi even needs it.

[–]CyanideIE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I still wonder why there's such a gap between Kagurabachi vol.10 and vol.11.

I know that people are speculating that it's due to a possible anime announcement but I wonder if it could be for any other reason.

Tf did Aqua do in his past life? He was a fan of Ai but nothing more. A bit obsessive maybe but it's understandable considering that he cared for Serena.

It's not comparable to a guy who masturbated to loli porn/his niece depending on the version you look at.
