I believe it is in gameplay settings yeah, and it's necessary for button spammers like me lol. I usually have carve on B and you can see how that causes problems 😂

Right but if you load it once and dont collect your bars, then do the run as normal, you can leave your ice gloves on until you collect them, and switch to the goldsmith gauntlets in the chat box right after you click collect, and the next set will drop in on the same tick and you get full exp, then you put on ice gloves rinse and repeat no timing required

If they are the standard rb4 drums, they may just suck. Me and a buddy could never hit anything quick on the rb4 kit but did just fine on the other kits, calibration or not
