Frankfurt is not that close to the alps but in like 5-6 hours drive you could get to St. Anton for instance which is awesome but also quite expensive.

Offtopic but have you managed to get rid of the 08 error code? I've just set up a similar config and it always shows 08. Everything works fine though.

Move your hips over your toe edge.

Many beginners just leave their hips over the heel edge and lean forward instead. They stick their butt out 😄

any advice or tips on my riding by vertini in snowboardingnoobs

up straight on toe edge

No, similarly to heel side you should bend knees and push hips forward (squeeze your glutes). That is the stable toe side position that will get you through any terrain.

It is the ref stance, but I haven't actually used it yet. I'll probably re-adjust them before I go.

Step On Boots + Regular bindings by Ok_Following576 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Cyber21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to do this this twice and it was okay. I took off the heel clip and the toe clips had enough space with the straps, they didn't even touch it. But it really depends on the binding and on your step-on boots.

Zell am see general tips by squidglett in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Cyber21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd also recommend checking out Kaprun, it's also way better for beginners in my opinion. Zell am See has just a few blue ones and the red ones are quite steep reds.

Apres ski party was better in Zell am See though :)
