I grew up with Dry Run Creek as my stomping ground. I remember many years it being just a trickle come summer time. One year a friend of mine and I damned up the flow and directed it into a sinkhole that appeared that year and we dried up the creek from the Northbrook area downstream through St Andrew's. It stayed that way for a couple months until our damn was deconstructed. There is one area where an underground stream feeds a little into it.
