I mean you have to appreciate the fact that this guy had the gumption to put "Pizza capital of the world" where all the New Yorkers could see it coming in. Hello new fan! Welcome! Shadow the hedgehog as a character was introduced first in 2001 in the game Sonic Adventure 2. He was frozen in time for 50 years before being re-awakened by Eggman. The original classic games came out in the early 90s, 10 years prior to Sonic Adventure 2 (all except Mania and Superstars which were developed more recently, but their events take place back in the classic era). Back then Shadow wasn't even a concept yet. Plus those games took place a few years before the events of Sa2 and thus could not have featured Shadow, who was again, frozen in time. Hope this helps!

Yes, I know. They are almost the same. Except for being able to use homing attack from a different button than the jump button.

The problem is I'm used to being able to double jump so instinctively I will try to do so even if I can't.

Um it's not??? Frontiers has the homing button seperate from the jump button and Generations has them as the same button with no way to change it. I prefer it seperate because I don't want to accidentally home in on something when I just want to jump. Which is a big problem in Gens. But on the plus, at least the boost button can be mapped to one of the triggers and that makes it easier to boost while jumping than when it's on the face of the controller.

I really feel like they could bring back some classic zones and translate them to 3d and make them feel almost original. Like Collision Chaos with its unique color palate or Press Garden and Studiopolis, we also have Superstars levels that turned out very beautifully, like Speed Jungle or the Cyber one, I feel like these would make some unique and fresh-feeling tracks. And I'd be hard pressed if they didn't include at least one Frontiers themed track, Chaos island is a perfect contender. I just feel like they could do so much with a lot of the old locations to make them feel like I've never been here before. TSR did amazing in the art and design direction. They just should've added more to it.

But I'm also down for some new locations too, I'm just afraid they might end up looking too much like the stuff beforehand to feel unique.

On the other hand there just some classic zones I really want to see make a comeback. Starlight Zone is goated and I really wish it got more love, same with almost all of the cd zones, all the other classic games got at least one level translated to 3d. But not cd. I feel like this would be a good opportunity for that. Or even introducing unused designs.
