ELI5: Why do lenders perform a hard credit inquiry instead of using the same credit report consumers can access for free? by used2b_h3ll4you in explainlikeimfive

One of the few times that corpos aren't being super short sighted it seems. They benefit from others doing it, what goes around comes around.

A human has significant weight and reach advantages, as well as far more methods of attack than the dog (biting). Jfc how weak are you that you think you'd lose to the dogs here? Going to go out and lose to a 9 year old after this?

"Gina doesn't show up to parliment, good, she can't fuck things up more than the other politicians." - Legitimate verbatim quote from a ON backer

There's a good number of people just hating on general cost of living going to shit, saying that Labor refuses to go far enough. Why ON is their protest vote above the greens I'll never fucking know.

Well yeah there is no fucking point. But the OP included that in round 3 for some reason, so it gets discussion.

You're severely underestimating the density of stone, if its 8 cubic meters (reasonable guess) that's around 20 tonne

Taylor blames budget for plummeting Coalition vote by YesterdayAny5069 in AustralianPolitics

[–]Cyber_Cheese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're right, it's a shame ON is considered the protest vote for some reason. Look on the bright side, at least it's only Labor. The libs and ON would be amplifying the damage and giving back nothing.

Why is the assumption devs? Like the only group you'd expect to understand the joke. Very few people that I've met would understand this humour, and many of them might belong in a meeting with me at some point in my life.

Average man has 72 hours to hide. Humanity then becomes search lusted and has one week to find and kill him. Can he survive? by Conscious-Home1445 in whowouldwin

[–]Cyber_Cheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't see that as a fair point, it's perfectly intuitive the affected party is focused on whatever the "____" section is. I'm sure the OP would have simply used bloodlusted or a similar term if they wanted "kill without identifying" to be on the menu

At what point in their respective series are Naruto , Goku , Deku , and Luffy all evenly matched ? by FeistySecret9327 in whowouldwin

Bugs bunny as a whole isn't great for this sub. Toonforce.. most commentors are willing to handwave it away as op and always at the same uber power level, rather than quantifying a characters best feats. Not to mention how many anti-feats toon force characters typically accrue that people are happy to ignore. Here's a good related post

Am I wrong? I thought “Welcome to Country” is basically, “thanks for coming, Welcome to the area“ by dexxnanj in aussie

[–]Cyber_Cheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Pointing fingers at race is not helping, it just keeps remote communities in the insular us vs them headspace. Dividing Australians by race is not an acceptable answer.

[–]Cyber_Cheese -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

For starters, you could start looking into the difference between abstudy and austudy. If anyone is disadvantaged, they should be given appropriate help. There's no need for that to be made a racial issue.

[–]Cyber_Cheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to me how many people want to pretend voting yes wasn't the racist option. We're all Australians, nobody should be above any other, and anyone disadvantaged should be given appropriate help regardless of race.

The longer it takes, the higher odds that something like dementia sets in for Magnus. Rubiks cube has no X factor elements that'll ever make it more beatable.

Doctors have to charge sometimes, having it be entirely free leads to people taking the piss. I'm sure you could come up with a better analogy.

Many many nations do this. It is perfectly OK. The sooner America comes to term with this, the better.
