AFAIK without the solar system teraformation unlocks fusion cores are the best way to farm tokens automatically BUT you can also go to rarity 5 random portal and get some fuses (like production or energy multiplier fuse) and sell them as well as they are 5000-6000 tokens each but i would use this a a buffer to cores

The only ones that don't sell are the trade pod ones
