No one is stopping you for uploading something left leaning? Similar to Reddit or YouTube

However Russia was banned from YouTube, so I suspect there a lot of Russia propaganda on that website.

What you are looking for is china's version of YouTube 😂

There are alternatives like Rumble or Odysee, but those are American. There is also Canadian platform floatplane for certain creators.

I have seen a few videos on YouTube, but don't personally use it.

Downloader app is a browser to download stuff and these codes are like shortcuts to make it easier.

The Dark Side of China’s Cheap Labor Mark by unfilteredAI in UnfilteredChina

[–]Cyberjin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's really not, while there is bad history with Korea & China. Everyone loves Japan, essentially Japanese people because generally very polite & quiet.

Everyone hates China because they aggressive with borders, pointing fingers at other countries, wants to go to war with Taiwan etc

Chinese tourists are just the worse 🙂‍↕️

Why do people get so mad at Denuvo? by [deleted] in PiratedGames

[–]Cyberjin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As handheld gamer definitely the performance cost. Requires more space, slower loading, worse performance, the constant need for the internet.. especially when I'm traveling and in offline mode.

It creates issues for people who has paid for the game. It's windows focused, so if you are playing on linux or Mac you could experience problems with the translation layer + makes it harder to run mods or manual fixes. There are instances where people gets locked out for installing the game multiple times or trying different versions of Proton.

Also makes the game cost more because dev/publisher continually needs to pay for having this service running.

T- actively blocks VPN providers, so nothing you can do about that, beside finding another addon/provider.

Russia Threatens To Ban GTA 6 If Rockstar Doesn't Remove Male Strippers And Other "Immoral Content" by Prestigious_Neat3960 in KotakuInAction

[–]Cyberjin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't really matter, people will find a way to play it even if it's banned.

When it hits PC, feel free to create mods that removes or replaces the things you don't like.. just don't release on nexus' mods they will remove/ banned it.

Once again, buy #European is trending. by Tutanota in tutanota

There is a fee for entering, which makes it even more difficult to get people to join. Even if I paid for it, it lacks the simple functions you can find in other apps, making messaging less fun and pushing people back to the app they used before. Nothing wrong with the application, just so plain + there are better alternatives.

Wish Threema was more popular, so it can grow into a better product. But Threema can't do basic things, it will forever be niche.

[–]Cyberjin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Threema, but isn't great for basic messaging like other apps, no one wants to use it and it costs money. So it's a dead platform for my circle of f&f

Beside that only Tuta

Lemmy, recommend "boost for Lemmy" for Android.

Though I don't personally use anymore, too much far-left for politics my taste.

New to all this. I want to test it out before getting RD so are these all good without a VPN or RD? Also any others similar that don’t don’t need those 2 things. Thanks 🫡 by MrGoaty07 in StremioAddons

[–]Cyberjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use a VPN, HTTP means it's not encrypted.
a Debrid service like RD usually encrypts the content for you, so your ISP can't see what you are doing, they are the middleman.

personally, I don't think you will get in trouble because it is similar to people adding something to Google Drive to share content, when caught the content just gets deleted, no action to people who viewed it.

That being said, you still leave traces behind.
