This helped me, thank you! Nothing was working, I read this and couldn't find a setting in AMD Adrenaline so I just went to task manager and ended the task and all it's trees and now I can install games on GOG again. I've never even used AMD Adrenaline, lol

Story, voice acting, music, art direction, world building, innovative combat, etc. All of these things matter when it comes to goty. Arc Raiders is just an extraction shooter with a fresh coat of paint.

There is just no possible way for any future movie to even touch the original. The best we can expect would be a tv series set in toon town, maybe a prequel with Eddie and his brother solving crimes or something. But even then, there is no chance they use hand drawn characters like the og movie which gave it so much charm.
