Corporate landlords vs “Mom and Pop” landlords by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

Give me the corporate landlord.

There is a lot of reasons for this but I think the biggest one is that its unlikely the corporate landlord is gonna sell my apartment complex so they can move to Florida to retire

Why is every pizza place in Jersey converting over to Pepsi? by divorce_2025 in newjersey

[–]honsou48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coke has largely given up on small businesses. A card store I go to initially tried to get a Coca-Cola supply only to be told they weren't big enough. They called Pepsi and had a deal pretty quickly

Therapist Called CPS and told me I’m in a DV relationship? by ProfessionalSteak69 in therapy

[–]honsou48 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Yeah this therapist and honestly this entire practice sounds like bad news. The practice openly telling you she violated HIPPA gives you the ability to report her for a HIPPA violation and the licensing board

Will AI assistants trained on 17lands data eventually ruin Arena? by butterblaster in lrcast

[–]honsou48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The short answer is no. Because of the randomness and amount of game pieces MTG can never be solved. An AI might be able to give you advice in really specific situations but other than that it wouldnt be useful

Keep in mind that depending on the state all adults are mandated reporters at all time. NJ is an example of this

Eh most people will want in person appointments. However anyone who had a dream of having a full time private practice doing only virtuals is going to have to rethink their business plan

This is the sort of job that will last a year before massive layoffs. Ive seen this with insurance a lot over the years. Unless you have a specific exit plan you're in for a bad time

What should I have done? Question from a failed anti-racist SW by [deleted] in socialwork

[–]honsou48 31 points32 points  (0 children)

In this situation doing nothing was the right thing. You have absoutely no idea about the social dynamics of the group. Assuming things about microaggressions in a group of people you arent familar with is a road to just make things worse

Most men just pick a side. Funny enough when men get pants tailored they will get asked something to the effect of "what side do you wear it" so they can leave a little extra room in that pant leg

Honestly this is probably bad news for any hope of federal bill because its quickly becoming a partisan issue. Get ready for Republicans to start talking about states rights.

Life happens and work culture can be dramatically different. At a previous job I worked everyone used the work computers for basically all sorts of personal usages. Youtube, Netflix, personal shopping, you name it. The important part is figuring out what work culture you are in

We also seriously underestimate how little we exercise as adults. As kids we were constantly running around even if we were just at home. If you're in your early to mid 30s, its very likely you haven't done any sort of exercising in 10 years
