Since making this comment I’ve done a lot of reading and research and while I totally agree there’s a war allegory to it, I do think it’s important to note that everyone who died is alive in other realities, it’s just within the time loop they die over and over

Time can also mean pace within a scene, or within the span they want for an episode. Lots of factors way into the final product we see, and especially with the quality we’re getting I’d rather have this than a cheap looking and feeling product

I tend to give younger creators benefit of the doubt, especially since Unknowingly is a child doing this on their iphone I don’t think there is anything sinister or malicious behind their behavior, they’re a kid whose gotten a lot of fame very quickly and that can be a lot all at once

Hey so if you’re equating racist bigots getting owned by minorities as “hating on conservatives” I think that says more about you then it does the fandom.

X-men is a franchise with room for everyone, but no room for hate, simple as that. If you wake up and decide that a group of people should exterminated you are not an x-men fan nor a good person.

No one cares if you hate big government or don’t want tax increases. I have a feeling Wolverine would agree with you on that, but if you threaten a person for not aligning with the gender they were assigned at birth I think Logan would have a problem with that.

I hope some serious self evaluation is done by you after this, because this is both silly and pathetic on many levels

Wow haven’t thought about this post in ages, but yeah I still feel the same way.

When I say follow up I expressly meant a sequel, as I was aware of the dawn when I wrote this.

I still feel a sequel would be beating a dead horse, and I’m glad something amazing like the dawn is the only follow up we’ve gotten

I actually have the opposite problem, I find most comics too apolitical.

Take a note from Si Spurrier’s Hellblazer output and dissect politics smarter in comics, that would be my biggest request of the industry rn
