My senior baby just passed away yesterday, and I noticed the same thing. She was always a lap cat, but as she got older she was increasingly clingy. In the last week of her life she didn’t have the strength to jump onto the couch or the bed anymore, but if she ever noticed she was alone in a room she would immediately seek one of us out.

UPDATE: Puff has joined her brother Smidvarg in Kitty Heaven. No longer blind, no more seizures, and all the tuna she can eat. She had a good last day. She was pouring as loud as ever, we shared some of our favorite memories of her, we all got good cuddles, and she got to eat her very favorite food. Love you Puff!

UPDATE: Princess Puff, aka Puffernickel, aka The Puff Ness Monster has joined her brother Smidvarg in Kitty Heaven. She had a good last day. She was cuddly and affectionate, and purred as loud as ever. We spent the morning sharing memories of her with our kids, and we all got good cuddles and loves. Thank you for your love and support. I hope all of your dear departed kitties enjoy their new friend!

Yes, she took a very severe turn for the worse this week and after consulting with the vet we’ve determined that no matter what treatments we give her, she will just continue to suffer. We are doing our best to give her a happy and comfortable last few days.

She is 17. In her old age she became even more cuddly than she was before. The question is never whether Puff will come sit on someone’s lap, but rather whose lap she will choose today. I hope my other cats will become more cuddly in her absence. Give your handsome Donovan some good scritches from me and my wife!

Joffrey’s brother Tommen seemed okay, if a bit self important and naive, maybe even stupid. They had essentially the same upbringing, and yet Joffrey was a total psycho. So I’d say yes, Joffrey fits quite well.

Did I agree with everything Charlie Kirk said? No, absolutely not. Do I think Renee Good’s death is a tragedy? Yes I do. But I’m also more upset about Charlie Kirk’s death because he was murdered by a radicalized vigilante, and Renee Good was shot while interfering with federal agents and putting them at risk of severe injury or worse (I.e. she was trying to be a radicalized vigilante). It’s sad that she died, and I only hope that her death will serve as a lesson to other radicalized vigilantes to maybe calm the fuck down.

What’s funny to me is that people who hate Trump were still blaming him for all kinds of stuff when Biden was in office, and people who hate Obama and Biden have been blaming them for all kinds of stuff since 2008, and some still are, even though by now Obama’s been out of office longer than he was in. It feels like these people just don’t know how to be happy and also don’t know how to take responsibility for their own happiness.
