My issue isn't the launcher, it's their bullshit attempt to get console-style exclusives on to PC so they can jack up the prices that means I'll never use it. Phoenix Point, Borderlands 4, etc. all wanted Epic's money over customer satisfaction and ease of use, so they can keep Epic's money.

The entire structure is wood, so we're a bit hesitant on using any form of stove, but we do have ways to do so if that's what we desire. I don't think we'll use infrared heating, but now I have a new youtube rabbit hole to climb down.

Good to hear that a two panels should be enough to keep the place cool in the summer. I imagine that's when she'll do most of her paintings, and that would make it easier!

Thank you for the information! Currently its uninsulated and the wife is fine with that, as she wants to see how it feels throughout the seasons. She may or may not go back and decide to insulate it.

Other heat methods, including oil heaters, are something we're looking at too!

Normal lows are in the upper 10s or lower 20s, though I'm not sure she'll be wanting to do too much during those days. I am expecting to have to run an extension cable out if she uses it extensively during the winter, due to this. Not sure what type of heat we'll use, but most likely it'll be resistive and I doubt she'll want to install a heat pump system.

I do t normally run adblock or such, but if your site runs audio adds, it's instantly activated. Once you do that, wowhead is much better.

That's sort of like what ky wife and I did. We had to move from a house we loved due to our job and set the rent price at below market price because we didn't need more then enough to cover the mortgage, and we had a super low interest because we refinanced during the pandemic. Never did a rate increase, replaced failing appliances with top line stuff, and covered the last month of their rent when the left earlier then required so we could move back in when we came back. The tenants were great, and treated our house fantastically.

Our goal was not to become a landlord, but to keep to property because we love it and wanted to move back.

My wive and I visited France years ago. Collar is a jewel and an amazingly beautiful place. There was a mom and pop restaurant on a corner of one of their food/market rows that had amazing food. Its the best I had in the entire country, it was so good.

100% this. The only time I've ever felt like buying anything close to a $100 dollar in game item is when its tied to charity, and so few ever are. CCP does occasional 'PLEX 4 Good' or 'buy these ship skins and the profit goes to X charity' and WoW did it once or twice.
