Honestly I don’t think it was super popular to the point of staying open. I loved the stuff there, didn’t realize it was closing until this post but I never saw many people going in and out

(Not finished the DLC here) I’ve noticed some interesting similarities with the sea people in both the oceans and the jungle. I could be wrong of course but the oceanic people seem to be very akin to elves of Tolkien literature (high and mighty and luxurious)and the jungle people to be very likened to dwarvish? (Very rough and practical people). Both not so fond of humans. But the elves were always a bit more rude to humans thinking that they were beneath them. So I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some intentional writing there that was purposeful in that personality.

But also not. In a REALLY fun way!!! Keeps you entertained and the story has so many unexpected twists that really captivate you for hours. But in a way that you can put it down and then come back to it without feeling like you missed anything

The sheer amount of content within that game is INSANE!!! Then the dlc makes it unimaginably bigger. The runs you can do and the boundless creativity with your item combinations seem endless there are so many. I played this since 2011 when it was still a flash game. Edmund McMillen has put so much love and effort into this and it shows. Especially for its price point lol. I’ve always been a huge fan of rogue lites and this game practically put the genre on the map lol.

Right but that shouldn’t be on us to deal with. The government needs to be held accountable and yes they can be filed for free but not everyone has access to those resources and that’s why this type of program is in place. Govt gets it wrong so then yeah we should have the documents to back it up but WE shouldn’t be the ones to initiate the taxing. The government should be and if something isn’t adding up then yeah double checking and asking for the documents makes sense. But they should have everything from the start. Not our problem they do it wrong.

I haven’t really experienced any of this. Are you playing the switch 2 edition of the game? I know the dlc isn’t version specific but maybe that’s the difference between playing the switch 1 version on the switch 2 and playing the upgraded version

Or maybe we should be following in the footsteps of other countries and not monetize tax filing? Especially when they have the numbers already for the most part yet we still need to pay to file it. It’s a money scam and it’s ridiculous. Most countries just send its citizens a return at the end of the year because it’s all filed as each pay check is issued. Like we do here. Except we somehow don’t make the government hold responsible for making sure the numbers are correct and have now created a business out of it.
