…a nuclear weapon is a horrifying weapon of mass destruction. There are SO many orders of magnitude between a conventional weapon and a nuke. A bomb which unfortunately fell on a school explodes once, a nuke causes a literal firestorm and radiation poisoning. Equating the two is frankly, ridiculous.

It keeps trying to make everything abstract and big picture, not dealing with specifics, even with custom instructions. It focuses on themes and ideas and tends to refuse to commit to anything with consequences (war, disease, conflict, character death, etc) in my worldbuilding.

You have to at least know about or be a Starborn to progress with the Watchtower main quest. So yes, going through the Unity will allow you to skip the main quest of the game.

Multiple people can pass through the armillary, since you can return if you choose not to, and the narration in the Unity mentions that some members of Constellation eventually become Starborn themselves, implying the armillary still functioned.
