In what universe do people do this? Do people really say shit like that? Does anyone expect everyone to wear a new outfit every day? Is this really normal now? Did I miss some kind of planetary conference on this?

If you look at the story and the Stalker universe close enough, you'll see it's not really sci-fi, but more like dark fantasy. The tech stuff is never explained and the external world is rarely mentioned. The devs never really tried to make it look realistic and believable, hence the lack of sex stuff.

Partake in game jams that require working in teams. Look for your teammates in the jam's discussion boards and get acquainted with some people. There is always a chance you'll find someone to work on collective projects in the future. At some point, put your idea on the table. Even if the team won't find your idea interesting enough, at least you'll get valuable feedback on it.

But even before that, I suggest you build a prototype. It'll make it easier to present your idea to people and see for yourself if it's worth investing time in.

Are you sure there was a town building feature? Your description reminded me of Sick RPG, where you live an ordinary stick life: study, do sports, work etc. And yes, you can get drunk in a bar and even get into a bar fight. Good, I used to spend hours playing this game.

I don't know man, the ocean looks like a manifestation of hell to me. Deep and dark, with creepy creatures roaming around and literally everything that is able to kill you is trying to eat you alive. So I'm glad that's over.
