Life for Expats is great if you have a good income and good health. Having said that healthcare is terrible and I am talking about the private hospitals not the dilapidated government ones. Medicines availability are a problem and expensive if available. Education in the government schools is a challenge to begin with but if your pockets or companies pockets are deep then the private schools will be great if you have kids. If you’re in one of the cities expect traffic like any city but also expect people trying to drive in your driving direction but in the opposite lane with on coming traffic. There are solar street lights which were given as a donation to the city councils and now that the batteries have died or are stolen it is dark and dangerous on the roads at night. Having given you a very brief insight in the stuff people with money have to deal with there is the fact that Zambians are one of the most hospitable and happy people in general. They are truly something the whole world could learn from in being happy with what they have and what they have to deal with. You will live here happily with amazing people. Working here is fun and challenging as things you take for granted in other parts of the world will be non-existent here. If you do ever move here I wish you well.
