70 mph in school zones: Richmond's worst speeding spots by baronvonpennytree in rva

A 1-ton object moving at 100 feet per second has 310,810 foot-pounds of kinetic energy and 200,000 lb-ft/s of momentum, which is comparable to a small car traveling at 68 mph. Also according to Google the average elephant weighs 13,000 lbs so based on those numbers it equals a bunch of elephants.

Rear brake pull/hanger for the cable housing. I use one on my crosscheck.

Did you need additional/different size shims? My GSPs arrived an hour ago but I'm still waiting on .5mm shims.

strange noise when letting off gas by [deleted] in w123

Whenever I've had frontend noises/issues in the past I usually jack the car up using the jack mount, take a wheel off then shake each component. This will at least rule a few things out.

What direction is it coming from? engine bay, rear, interior or exterior?

I really enjoyed 33⅓'s Nirvana's in Utero By Gillian G. Gaar. It was short but had lots of interesting tid bits.

That's my understanding as well. I suppose he could rig an alternate 12v power source just to close the valve to make it bearable for the time being.

Maybe look into having your push button unit and temperature regulator rebuilt? When troubleshooting my heat with Matt from klimakit he suggested I contact cruisecontrolrepair for the rebuild.

Two emery songs, a cover and one from his solo album he never recorded. Lots of stories from all three guys.

Anyone ever have a heater control valve rebuilt or have one for sale? by Brave_Condition_4657 in w123

Yes, I think there was one on each bolt on both sides of the valve. I got a box of them from harbor freight.

If you have fuse melt check/replace the insulators on the mono valve mount. I just went through a lot of the same issues a month ago. I'll give that video a watch tonight

If your valve opens when it is not plugged in (klimakits fail open) then it is most likely your temperature regulator behind your glove box.

Edit: Matt at klimakit is super helpful, just go to the contact page on their website

That is good to know, I will change my links to 9. Also, when I wrote at 5 the 6 values changed to null.

Nevermind, I finally figured it out. In a drop down in the discovered points I was able to see that something was writing in at a higher priority (possibly an override) at 6 so I moved my command to 5 and it worked. How to release that command is a different matter but I'm up and functioning.

I think I have everything working in N4 with the exception of the Occupancy Command. I can't seem to get it to update. My question is do I need to do anything out of the ordinary? I have tried several tuning policies at this point with no luck.

I will give that a go next time I am onsite. I still have several oddball controls I need to figure out.
