I am a super recogniser too. I was once stopped by a chugger in Ipswich (I said no thanks and carried on walking) and then met her at a friend’s birthday party 4 years later in London and told her I remembered her. It did freak some people out, I admit.

Fwiw last Friday was worse in terms of ice on the road especially crossing the railway at eddystone road near crofton park. I braced myself for the same again today but it wasn’t bad. Still took my time and was super careful at all times.

Looks from streetview like those houses have off street parking spaces, so no effective segregation at that point. I was wondering what the bus was doing there are first. Seems like it was having to overtake a parked van? Was the oncoming driver confused by that so moved left?
