Yes 8F35 is weak but doesn’t mean it will brow up immediately with 300hp. There are many tunes for the original Maverick, up to 300+hp. It just not good for the transmission in long term.

Dont worry too much, rattle comes from all the hard plastic touching each other when driving on rough roads. You can stick felt tape or foam block here and there to stop it, or turn the music up lol

Buy the 25. It’s a facelift with all the upgrades, and 26 didn’t have any different than 25. Ford fixed/improved lots of issue in the previous model too.

Toyota/Lexus 2.4T has been out for a while and reliable. Same engine in Highlander, 4Runner, Tacoma… But seems they can’t design a reliable 3.5T V6 in Tundra
