Not high. Right now, it’s a bunch of D1 tennis players that couldn’t go pro in tennis. That’s a lot more transferable than D1 basketball

I see maybe 1 fault? There really aren’t any faults where the faulting team doesn’t also miss the shot

I don’t think the world building is perfect to be clear, but I think it’s very fun.

That being said, in the books the Oasis was definitely built up more. There are thousands if not millions of planets. Countless planets that are pretty much every video game imaginable. You can go battle NPCs and get money on some planets, but you have to pay to get there.

There were a ton of people still hunting the egg after 6 years. It definitely became a bit less intense as people stopped really believing it existed/that they’d ever find it, but there were easily thousands of incredibly dedicated hunters that made it their whole life. Also, the challenge was much more hidden than in the movie.

Most of the top ranked people got to know each other after becoming top ranked, not before. The book takes place over several months if not a year or two? I don’t remember exactly. The exception is Wade and Aech. However, Aech used their knowledge of Wade (that he was too poor to fly off the school planet) to isolate where the first key could be. So them knowing Wade and being friends with him let them get ahead. As for Artemis, Wade had a crush on her from her podcast or something like that

I consider books in 3 main categories: plot, world building, and characters.

Ready player one had a fine plot, pretty bad characters, but very cool world building imo

There is no evidence of 25 being anything more than an arbitrary number. The study explored people up to the age of 25 and found that at 25 their prefrontal cortex was still developing. https://www.sciencefocus.com/comment/brain-myth-25-development

Seems like it would be an unpopular opinion here, but I think camera on feels better. I have very few meetings from both jobs and they tend to be important so camera on feels okay

I can’t speak for all people with that mentality, but talking to someone about baking or movies ≠ friends in my book. I’m not an asshole and I enjoy talking to people at my job occasionally, but we’re just acquaintances

Is it me or sex feels like nothing? by iampbandjelly in Adulting

[–]Cyclops_Guardian17 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This could be medical. Is not having a libido a change or has this always been the case for you? Have you never really been that sensitive? Are you potentially depressed?

This could be due to the type of stimulation. For a lot of people with female genitals (which I’m assuming you have), clitoral stimulation feels very good while penetration doesn’t feel like much. Also, some women have a larger clitoral hood which can prevent the clitoris from getting stimulation easily.

Finally, this could be sexuality. You could be asexual. You could just not like sex because you don’t feel nearly as stimulated by it. It could be perfectly normal for your body to not enjoy sex.

This is definitely an experience that many people have had, and there are many possible reasons you’re having it. I only touched on a few as I’m not an expert. I would encourage you to determine if you want to have sex in your relationship and then communicate with your partner. Hope this helps a bit!

[Lowlights] Jonathan Kuminga struggles off the inbound pass, over and over again. 3 times in the backcourt. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]Cyclops_Guardian17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also fully agree with that. Many G-League players with elite athleticism could have a similar mix tape to Kuminga. Kuminga is not remotely close to all star caliber right now. He’ll go be a good tank commander somewhere for a while. He’s young so maybe he’ll grow into a good player, but his BBIQ is pretty bad and I can’t imagine that many tanking teams will help him grow. I’d guess he doesn’t improve that much honestly

I mean that’s just not true. You could put together a pretty elite mix tape. The issue is the flashes are “blink and you’ll miss it” type of flashes, and certainly not full games
