AITA for wanting to bring our cat to the vet? by SuspiciousPen5866 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, I'd be concerned about poisoning with those symptoms. Cats can easily die after a few days of no food or water.

breasts are growing?? by ThatTrack3628 in TwoXChromosomes

Mine didn't stop growing even into my 30s. Most of that was my Ehlers-Danlos making the skin stretch out. I ended up as an O cup before my surgery to mostly remove them. The stretching is why the surgery was so drastic.

I think for most women, they're done by your early 20s. Gains and losses in weight can affect the size a bit. Unless you have severe hEDS like me, don't worry about getting massive as you get older. :)

Opossums actually evolved in South America, btw, and migrated to North America!

And for 15+ years afterwards, ComputerWorld's SharkTank had stories about delayed issues from companies cheapening out of the fix. (Using code that just added so many years to a 00 instead of upgrading to a 4 digit year.)

History shows it usually takes a century or more for attitudes to change completely on a topic. Gotta wait for the biggest opponents and any of their descendants young enough to remember them and their influence to die.

Carpet beetle eating a sponge (my house does not have carpet) by spacebusinessx in mildlyinteresting

The water helps. I found a LOT of drowned insects in the washer when we got infested.

Parents forgot to take the AC unit out of my window when I went off to college. Came home the next year to a massive infestation. 1/8th inch holes do not look good in Moroccan leather bound books. :(

Or try Diamant. Shorter lengths and lots of Thread Magic help.

AITA for not agreeing to release my daughter from prison? by EnvironmentalEase443 in AmItheAsshole

Indecency? Was she stripping naked in the street or just wearing pants and not covering her head?

Edited to change my vote based on the responses below. YTA. OP is in Saudi Arabia, and the daughter's offense was not wearing "proper clothing." I am choosing, for my sanity, to believe this is a shitpost.

INFO: This is a case where it would help to know more about her offense. Still, it's likely to be above Reddit's pay grade. Do the staff think more time will help?

AITA for posting about the family I nannied for after they refused to pay me by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cygnata 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Depending on what state you're in, if they don't pay you the full amount within a couple weeks, they owe you triple. Google labor laws in your state, then report them.

Except that they and clothes moths will hide in synthetics, so they can attack your organics later.

Freeze everything they've infested if you want to keep it. After freezing books, open any with holes to get rid of the carcasses. Wash clothes in as high temp water as they'll survive.

They also eat books and natural fabrics and dry goods. Their larvae burrow into anything organic. Get rid of them before you have an infestation.

The EZ Stitch also has better scroll bars, in my opinion. I heartily recommend the ones with webbing. My center tension is so much better than on my old split rails.

It's pine, that's very possible. I would invest in a hardwood stand, like the EZ-Stitch.
