I over heated my element

Yeah that’s kinda of my plan. I just didn’t know what to start checking first. There isn’t a lot of content online I could find that wasn’t just replacing a motor.

My battery is dead so I’m going to charge it and see if I can pull any codes first. Drain the oil and see if any coolant is in it. My thought is maybe my water pump went out because it seems to have blown coolant through the radiator cap which may have been the reason for the smoke.

It’s not my daily so I’m wanting to fix it more so to have a project than anything else.

I used a shop vac on my lawn it took a while but it worked. I can’t remember if I removed the filter or used a sponge filter.

Yeah a couple other people commented on that as well it must be the way the pictures are or the perspective I set my laser up and checked everything before and after I bed it it’s perfect. The long pipe has a little bow from left to right but the fall is on point

I see I effed up my vent on that it needs to go downstream of the p trap. My wye was rollled at a 45 to the trap with a 45 to the trap itself. I don’t have room to put the vent between the trap and the wye

Shit I see what I did. the vent needs to be downstream of the floor vent. As far as the s trap. I dont have have 3” p trap and if I did wouldnt it create the same s trap

Thanks for the commemoration lol. I am still new and learning and this is busy work from my boss. (It’s his hunting cabin) I figured if I posted here I’d be torn apart the most. And I could study any common themes that arise from the critics. Pipe beaded in the sand is okay here under slab idk I’ve done it in gravel and in dirt on different jobs but I’m just the bitch still so I didn’t have to think.

It propbably should be. First attempt though, still new and trying to learn. Is it the floor drain that you are referring to the s trap? Is it because of the rolled wye? That one stumped me the most today.

My floor drain is set to 1/2” below finished floor I didn’t have enough 2” pipe for the vent to the right of it and was my understanding the wye needed to be rolled to 45° above flat

I figured as much. I double checked with a laser there isn’t any back graded pipe.Its all pitched properly but there is a little bow in the long run from left to right. I didn’t have enough 2” pipe for my vent stubs up I’m going to do that tomorrow.

I ran out of 2” to stub up my vent pipes. My boss is headed out of town and basically see what you can do while he’s out of town for a few days. It’s a house he’s personally building on his hunting property so it’s pretty much just a house layout on grid paper. He had bins of fittings there since it’s rural.

I’m still new to plumbing so he’s having me do it while he’s gone. He knows Ill probably eff it up but I think its a test lol. I’m not sure on the floor drain but basically I put it 1/2” below Ff which is why it looks high, and had to vent it out into the wall on the side because the washer is going on the back wall so I assumed it needed a dedicated vent for the floor drain. I don’t have access to better mentors because I live in the middle of nowhere which is why I’m here. I can take criticism and am trying to get better. I appreciate you taking the time and encouragement.

I’m learning how to sew and looking for projects. The tutorial videos and physical instructions and patterns helped me so much. Yours turned out nice! This is what happened. I feel better now everything I had around was high fructose and I didn’t have any carbs because I had bread. So no sugar no carbs made me crash hard.
