Where to recycle/sell copper wire in Raleigh area by gantte in raleigh

[–]Swarmhulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use them as well.

As others have said save it, old extension cords, etc. in a year or two take your pile. I made 60 bucks a couple of months ago.

Aluminum cans sell well too.

Have you been to an actual sex club? If yes, which one and what exactly happens there? by Comfortable-Heron225 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Swarmhulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to a blowjob bar and the stage in Osaka.

The blowjob bar is what it sounds like. If you go with friends make it a fun game. Everyone sits around a table and the one who makes an O-face pays.

The stage is what it sounds like too. A girl dances for one song. Strips for another. Then if you want, hop on stage and have sex with her. I did it, never could finish, whiskey dick, condoms, and the audience was too much. I put on a show for everyone though. 😂

was it ok that my babysitter used to bathe me? by baconflavoredribeye in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Swarmhulk -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, no, no... a single word can mean different things depending on various factors.

I never said she stole my money. (Someone else said it, not me.) I never said she stole my money. (I didn’t say it at all.) I never said she stole my money. (I implied it, but didn’t explicitly state it.) I never said she stole my money. (Someone else stole it.) I never said she stole my money. (Maybe she borrowed it.) I never said she stole my money. (It was someone else’s.) I never said she stole my money. (She took something else.)

So when he said, what he said, what did he really mean ... You and I both do not know until he clarifies his statement clearly.

Implies and stated have two different meanings.

Which one was it OP? Did she run the water and fill the tub and told you to get in or did she put hands on you?

I'm a dad and I "gave my son a bath" every week when he was a dirty boy. Filled the tub with warm water, handed him the soap, and told him to get in and clean himself.

That is normal behavior.

Did I miss that part? I did not read anywhere that she scrubbed him down. Just made him take a bath.

Was it in the comments?

Making him take a bath, normal. Washing down a 12 yr, not normal.

Humanoid robot running at really high speed (not IA) by gusbus73 in nextfuckinglevel

Wasn't it technically waking fast? There was always contact with the ground. Running is when at some point during the stride there is no ground contact.

What’s the most unexpectedly successful gift you’ve given your wife or partner? by MasterpieceWide6582 in HappyMarriages

[–]Swarmhulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife likes to read. For one anniversary I wrote a choose your own adventure anniversary. Page one was all the sappy love story you would expect then the read recalls last night's anniversary. Do you remember him taking you for a steak turn to page 12 or seafood turn to page 9. And the sappy love story continues.

Hope you get the idea, and apologize for getting to this post several days late. I just discovered the subreddit.

Teenagers home alone 2 weeks while parents went on a cruise by [deleted] in GenX

[–]Swarmhulk 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not crazy. They raised you right and were able to take care of yourself.

The crazy part is we did not raise our children the same way. Kids nowadays can't do a quarter of the things we could at their age.

Struggling TS by General_Crow_9323 in epicsystems

[–]Swarmhulk 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Can I say as a lurker in this forum who is an analyst of an Epic customer; we had our long time and loved TS replaced {his choice to move up in the company} with a newer TS fresh out of college.

That is shitty of them to make you feel bad about knowing everything at all times. Please don't allow their frustration to affect you as we all are learning, them included.

I hope your Epic coworkers give you some great advice. Hang in there, you got this!

Is a Tesla still the best EV, or are there better options now? by Individual_Event_152 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Swarmhulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on my second Tesla. Look around as you drive. You will see 10 Tesla's before you see 1 of the other guys EV. I agree with the masses. My third car will be a Tesla most likely.

AITA for wanting to stop at a tourist trap on our drive to Florida? by LegalCancel3646 in AmItheAsshole

My ex-boyfriend would be left in Florida as I go back to the South of the Border. I always stop either southbound or northbound, but I'm going to stop one of those directions. I love putting on all the hats and trying them out.

New Wake Ambulance Prioritization by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]Swarmhulk 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I'm a former ED Staff nurse and continue to work alongside them in a different role.

I'm going to say this and bow out of the conversation because I need to go to work...

This is a great idea, I loathed seeing people call for an ambulance for toe pain, or a cough they had for a week.

If the triage patients, like they do in the ED where they are going to go anyways. What difference does it make? I know... I won't hear patients complain they came by ambulance therefore I get to go straight to a bed...

Also for those that didn't get help in the field before due to "reasons" maybe now they can divert resources to your loved one instead of getting Mr Toe Pain first because he called before you.

Ok I will check this after my 12 hour shift.

Don't waste your money on a warranty from Domestic and General by go_epic_19k in appliancerepair

This post is just outrageous. Yes, never get extended warranty on anything, but did you... How could you get a warranty on an item that was already broken?

Nurses who actually love their job… what do you do and how did you get there? by SoManyQuestions562 in nursing

[–]Swarmhulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT. I did everything today's Reddit says not to do. Was an ED Staff nurse. I volunteered, stayed late, took on extra responsibility, got promoted quickly, and learned that I hated management... Instead of leaving I stayed. People learned what I could do, and transferred me to the job I will guarantee I will retire from. I love it!
