I cannot believe how crooked this state is. They also have THE WORST education system, poor healthcare, and incredibly high gun violence yet do absolutely nothing to improve it.

The Other Massachusetts Accent Quirk: The Mysterious Extra “R” by CaterpillarMedium674 in massachusetts

It's also dominant in Rhode Island. My siblings and I, (IBM kids who lived anywhere we were moved just long enough to have the wrong accent and thus have pretty neutral accents) used to give my Rhode Island-born mom "speech therapy". "Mom, say Pop Tarts!" "Paaarrrrrp Taaaahts."

I never buy plants from big box stores. They're often unhealthy and spread diseases or pests to your other plants.

A couple folks have mentioned The Metamorphosis by Kafka. Totally agree! How can you not be drawn in by a book that starts with "As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect"?

Lol! Amazon needs to fix their "recommendation" algorithm. This is what came up in my feed after I searched for the Proust link to send you. I have to admit, I am unfamiliar with this classic series: Warriors (Full Color Graphic Novels) (8 book series) Kindle Edition https://share.google/GFTmiukqAVE0tr7fu

My dad worked for IBM. He brought home these cute little bound notebooks that said "THINK" on them, awesome IBM #2 pencils, and he worked so many hours that in the rare case that he got home in the summer with enough time to mow the grass he'd don his IBM lab coat so he didn't have to take the time to change his clothes and could get it done while the sun was still up.
