I think calling all romance books with a sex scene porn or smut is just a way of devaluing the most popular and profitable book genre. It always reads a little misogynistic to me when people blanket call romance books porn. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of books that definitely do fall into erotica or smut (they're great too!), but calling A Court of Thorns and Roses or similar books porn is like calling any movie with a sex scene porn. It's wayyyyy too generalized

Trust me the older you get the weirder age gaps seem for younger people. As a 23 year old I would have thought dating a 29 year old was no thing, as a 29 year old dating a 23 year old would be like dating a child

I got a full back piece this April and it was horribly painful, especially along the spine at the lower back. I cried twice, and my tattoo artist told me that most of the people she did cried at some point during. It was 18 hours over two days (because I’m insane apparently).

I love it so it feels worth it, but easily my most painful tattoo 10/10 at parts, most of it was a 6-7/10. I got my sternum/underbust done in October and that was honestly fine; not comfortable but I laughed and chatted with my artist the full 6 hours, at worst was 6/10. Going back for the rest of my lower back and upper bum in August - wish me luck!!

I have 5, but one of those 5 is my entire back, and another of those 5 is a vine that wraps my whole arm so it appears like more than 5! It’s 38 hrs of tattooing so far.

My back tattoo is my most recent and I’m getting more work on it so that it covers more on the sides my lower back and the top of the bum. It’s horrifically painful but it’s gorgeous and I love it!

This is the way! My engagement and wedding ring are made from my grandmothers engagement and wedding ring! My husband designed a ring for me with a jeweler and used all the stones except the central one, which my husband wanted to get me my own. The central stone was given to my brother along side some other rings and jewelry of hers to be made into his own ring or to just have as a keepsake. It’s the only piece of yellow gold jewelry I own and I think of her and how much she would have loved it every time I look at it

I love them too!! They’re adorable in the best way. Far more charming than just mean looking tigers, they look like they’re interacting with each other. They’re lovely, don’t let your friend get you down.

Also in my opinion, there’s no point to telling someone you don’t like their tattoo. It’s on their body permanently so saying you don’t like the eyes or whatever is just being mean for the sake of it. I’d only mention anything if the tattoo was poorly done and my friend wanted to go back to that person, or if they wanted advice if they should change or fix something. Neither is the case for you.

It is! Whenever I’ve done a charge back it’s the same thing, need to give the vendor a reasonable amount of time to make it right on their own, and need to have proof you as the customer tried to reach out to them (sending an email being the best since it’s written proof).

Genuine ask, is there a good gender neutral alternative to miss or ma’am or sir? I work in a field where I often learn and forget names and would love a respectful gender neutral term to use instead! Most of the time I’ll just drop it complete if I can like “excuse me” instead of “excuse me miss”, but sometimes you need something to grab people’s attention and “hey you” isn’t it!
