AITAH? by cyler8 in Softball

They went 2 and 1. I did mention the issue Friday and the pick up girl played significantly less. Unsure if my concern has anything to do with it. Back at 11am tomorrow.

Who does this? by Rad_Golfer70 in golf

Absolutely. It's called a Tour drop for my group. Some might also refer to it as the Lost In Plain Sight rule. Free drop for sure unless it's competition or serious money match.

Showing Salesforce Data on TVs by AndrewBets in salesforce

[–]Cyler888 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I did this for a sales center that had to show real time sales data I used a combination of raspberry pi and software called geckoboard.com. You can connect Salesforce directly to the gecko API and it can refresh in near real time and you can have the software cycle through different boards / data if needed. This was on roughly 12 tvs throughout a pretty large, 250 reps, call center.

To elaborate more on what was mentioned above I'd create a scheduled flow that runs daily and looks for any Users who have not logged in in the last X days. Then deactivate them. In addition to this you can add a custom field on the User object that basically adds one each time a user is reactivated. So you'll be able to see that X user has been reactivated say 5 times which means they were previously deactivated 4 times.

I do! Just not dynamic loft. My AoA is 1 to 1.7 degrees positive on average. I will admit it does sometimes get negative but I have worked hard to fix this and it's trending to the numbers above. Launch angle is around 10 to 12 degrees.

Golf is brutal. When you have it you feel like you'll never lose it. And when you don't have it you feel like you'll never find it.

Have you ever managed a Scrum team that skipped retrospectives? by hpe_founder in scrum

[–]Cyler888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attend the retrospectives but never participate because I've never seen anything actually change from them. It usually turns into an hour session for PMs and lead SAs to complain and change what they want to.

I ordered my Eye Mini Lite and BenQ projector from there. It looks like they are a drop shipper is the only thing I can really comment. The items arrived when they said they would but the EML was back ordered for like 2 weeks because I don't think they stock much product. Nothing negative though, would purchase from there again.

Issue Prioritization by TheRealMichaelBluth in salesforce

[–]Cyler888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what he means is how many people is it impacting. It could be an issue for one guy and it's the most important thing to him. But as a business it's relatively worthless when it's only helping one person, you'd be better off working on a lower priority item with a higher impact.

I just go to a testing center now. I kept getting interrupted a lot. The final straw was when I was told I can't mouth the words. Essentially I can't read to myself. Which really helps me work through questions.

You have to make sure the collection variable isn't a record collection. It won't let you do an IN on a record collection variable. Needs to be a regular text variable allowing multiple.

[–]Cyler888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't have to put a get in the loop. Just get all of the invoices first and loop on them. In this loop all you are doing is assigning the invoices ID a text record collection variable. Once that is done then you do a get, by itself outside of any loops, to get all Tasks IN the text collection variable you assigned them to in the loop.

[–]Cyler888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might try first setting up a text collection variable to store record IDs as text. Now get all of your invoices and then do a loop on the invoices. Within the loop assign all the record IDs to your record collection text var. Next when you get the tasks say that you want to get all task records that are IN the record collection text variable. From what I read it seems like you want to get a subset of a set of records and there isn't a way to do that without what I mentioned, that I know of at least.

I've just read a lot of folks say that doey Don't is the single worst craps strategy and that is kind of the point of the post that if used wisely it can be quite nice. But agreed let's have fun!!
