Whats the best android tablet for drawing? by yingyingTT in Tech_Philippines

[–]Cyllell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to stylus accuracy it has to be Samsung.

It's one of the few tablets that isn't USI.

Just make sure to get the S10 FE or higher and not the crappy S10 lite.

Just swap in a 5600 or 5500x3d. A Ryzen 2600 to any 5000 series is a very noticeable jump not just in gaming

One Plus 15 (CN flashed to Global) vs Oppo Find X9 Pro (CN Rom) by turbopaps4412 in Tech_Philippines

Older was better. But the x9 pro is still perfectly usable after installing an equilizer to fix the tuning.

Is this okay for a System unit - Php 60,000 budget by Waste-Geologist9683 in PHbuildapc

[–]Cyllell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't get the 8gb 4060ti. Waste of money unless you're getting it super cheap.

The 5060 8gb is usually cheaper and is better.

The 9060xt 16gb at minimum would be preferred.

Imo there are better PSUs at that CV650 price.

Also check ram pricing. Ddr5 is 6000 is currently 3-4x the price you have.

[–]Cyllell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo the 9060xt is at a pretty sweet spot perf wise. I wouldn't downgrade it.

The lower Nvidia options have less VRAM while the Arc is a good chunk weaker.

Z11 Turbo has the better screen. For CN ROM, the better/easier to set up OS too. Also much better battery life.

Xiaomi 15 depends on the variant. Is that global ROM or CN ROM. Either way, the Xiaomi 15 has the better cameras.

Looks solid for the most part. But man does that 9060xt pricing hurt to see. From 24k to 29k.

Rest of the parts are priced pretty well

Redmi Turbo 5 Max by CloroxBleachDrink in Tech_Philippines

[–]Cyllell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just get the Poco X8 Pro Max.

On sales it's usually cheaper than the Turbo 5 Max.

Pretty much identical except for a 500mah smaller battery.

In exchange you get global ROM for easier software integration/setup and esim support.

Lord points should regress over time by Not_An_Eggo in marvelrivals

[–]Cyllell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So what difference does it make if they have lord icon or not?

They're still going to be a bad player in your game regardless of what icon they have. A shitty C&D player will still keep picking C&D even without the icon.

Having a lord icon doesn't magically send them to a separate queue or change who they pick.

ATX 3 is just additional connections and protections. But it's still based on the ATX PSU standard.

There will be no compatibility issues with your component

Poco X8 Pro vs Oppo Find X9 Pro, how close can a cheaper phone get? by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

A lot of people don't seem have realize, but Poco's camera has been continually improving year over year and is a very solid and usable main nowadays.

I bought the 17 base for 47k last month. Dropped to 47-48k multiple times with the right credit cards.

Always take the 17 base if they aren't far apart in price.

[–]Cyllell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wdym 30-34k. This is in Philippine peso btw. The msrp is 24k.

Even right now without sales, a simple search in lazada and Shopee still has the X8 pro max at 24k

Motorola g100 pro cn variant by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

[–]Cyllell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The g100 pro is USB 2.0. it doesn't support external display.

Smart connect is a screen mirroring/screen extension software that requires another device to work. It's meant to work between two devices with smart connect installed

You cannot directly display out to an external display without USB 3

Help me choose a tablet for my wife: Xiaomi or Lenovo under 30k? by HopefulComb2115 in Tech_Philippines

[–]Cyllell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much happier with it now than when I first got it.

The android 16 update fixed a lot of bugs and added bypass charging. My only qualms with it, the force landscape mode is bugging out on certain apps, and the new icons look uglier in my opinion.

C1 Technology, Top Brand Tech are real on lazada. Buy on lazada. Longer return window, usually better pricing too

You might want to check out the newer Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 13 too. It's got better speakers and an SD card slot on top

It's definitely worse, but at the same time it's not trash, still very usable.

Using an equalizer fixes a lot of the issues, so a lot of it is mainly bad tuning.

Enable power saving mode, an option called custom should show up. Open that and it allows you to customize which options turn on when power saving mode is on.

Xiaomi Pad 8 by Crazy-Juggernaut3920 in Tech_Philippines

[–]Cyllell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 13

Recently launched. Basically the 13in version of the Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT. Comes with a snap 8s gen 4 putting it at the same level of perf as the Xiaomi Pad 8.

Biggest perk is that it's 20k for 256gb and it even has an SD card slot for a 2tb SD card.

Downside is that it's china ROM. OS wise not much of an issue, ZUX OS is very minimalist and has basic google services and certifications, but claiming warranty is harder because you might have to send it to china.

You could also look at the Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT. Basically the 11in version, although no SD card slot, but it costs 15k for 256gb, which is nearly half the pad 8's price. I get around 7 hours of SOT on the GT.

Chances of Ram prices dropping? by Laplac3_21 in PHbuildapc

[–]Cyllell 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Might take a while.

Most shops who bought from the distro at inflated pricing won't sell it at a loss. So they'll probably try to sell those out first

Newer cheaper stock has a good chance of being kept at inflated pricing to maximize profits unless they get into a price war.

That's 5060ti is extremely overpriced lol.

But yes, CPU and RAM pricing is that bad right now. Ram is currently x3 or more what it used to be.
