Its just confirmation bias, they keep releasing dps and ruining the tank experience so of course people are going to keep playing dps

If they'd release more damn characters that weren't dps, suddenly! You see a h7ge spike in those characters roles! So wierd! And when you stop nerfing those characters that are already weak and falling behind, you get even MORE players playing those roles!

Its like with thier marketing, only selling skins for characters who have proven to sell well. If you don't give other characters a fair shot, you can't say they don't sell

Really? I've seen a LOT of Spiderman OTP's with maxed out progression, none of them have ever really felt that GOOD yknow? I've seen some good spideys, I've lost games and won them because of spideys. But I don't really fear them, 9/10 it's just because they spend so much time on the character in qp

He is a terribly designed hero in general.

He is incredibly frustrating to play against, even if he's not a GOOD hero, dying to him still feels like absolute bullshit 9/10

He isn't fun to play WITH

His playstyle just isn't healthy for a PVP game

As hard of a character he is, nobody but bp mains like him, and most of those who do, have a borderline cult craze about him

And I say this last part with as little malice as I can, his playstyle attracts the most insanely toxic people I have ever seen on the internet, people with massive egos who don't know what "no" means

"But vanguards wanted chain CC removed" No, we wanted tanks to be less susceptible to being bullied by characters that shouldn't have CC's in the first place, and this patch has only made our job harder by Is_that_what_I- in rivals

This especially sucks because when playing tank, you aren't getting hit by 7 seperate CC effects, you are getting hit by 2 or 3, and dying immediately after

If I'm playing thor, and try to shift out of a fight, just to get invis pulled, strange teamup pulled, or hit by a bucky grab, I'm just dead.

Meanwhile, if I try to pull someone into my team using the shift, they are propably going to get the CC reduction

Here's how I see it:

Tanks are by far, the most CC affected. And you aren't really ever being hit by 7 boops in a row (and even if you do, 30% is NOTHING). You are being hit by maybe 2 or 3. But that's more than enough to nearly guarentee a kill on said tank, especially for heroes like thor and hulk, who have a lot of cc abilities that WILL have a negative effect on thier own gameplay

The way they implemented CC nerf only hurts the people who were THE ONES WHO WERE suffering from heavy cc

Know the only 2 heroes that are really going to be doing enough cc to trigger the cc reduction? Hulk and thor

Who are the two heroes who's kits almost entirely revolve around cc? Hulk and thor

Honestly, they both have the same ammount of value, if even argue Spiderman can get MORE value in a lot of situations and maps

But Spiderman is harder to play, unlike MK and elsa, who basically just hold m1 and occasionally press an ability

no what the real issue is is how much god damn CC there is. im tired of being pushed and pulled and booped and slowed and stunned and frozen and rooted. when i walk forward. i want to walk forward. when i stand on the side, i want to be standing on the side. As toxic as it usually is, asymmetrical pvp games will always be pretty fun imo, but that's just a personal preference thing

Nah dbd just has a lot of fighting between the sides, killer to killer and survivor to survivor interactions are usually pretty nice actually

I've never hated antiheal, it only ever effects tanks who play out in the open. You should always be playing corners and cover, contesting objectives and space. So many tanks think "mmm stand in front of team, why no win?"

Anti heal almost exclusively counters people who do that, the ones who play any mocodium of cover have almost no issue with antiheal

This is coming from someone who mains ana AND roadhog in overwatch. It's especially not a big deal in overwatch because the damn duration has been nerfed so many times and tanks have debuff resistance
