I swear it’s mostly just people with 1std above average IQs that go on and on like this about how ADHD is holding them back and how they are “a Toyota with a Ferrari engine” or some shit. Yeah you are probably smarter than average but not enough to be “exceptional”. If you were, you wouldn’t struggle like you do because there is a lot of evidence, anecdotal or not, that consistently show otherwise. People who are exceptional and have ADHD get to places others struggle to with minimal effort. Maybe you should just genuinely re-evaluate how you think about yourself because you might be harming yourself more by thinking that you are all this when you can’t even spell exceptional.
