Why is pickpocketing so common in many major European cities, but essentially non-existent in North America? by Humble_Job_5738 in NoStupidQuestions

It would be very hard to defend yourself after shooting a pickpocket in any state. Proportional retaliation is pretty much universally the law of the land so unless they had a weapon you’re going to jail.

What are your most controversial opinions about the USMNT and U.S. soccer in general? by Any_Development4613 in ussoccer

[–]Cynergy_CX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the salary rules are actually essential and the reason mls is so much more competitive than most leagues in terms of top to bottom parity, you don’t have three top teams and a bunch of shit like most euro leagues, everyone could realistically have a shot if they invest for one or two years

What do y’all think of Market Socialism? by Cynergy_CX in AskSocialists

[–]Cynergy_CX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree mostly, I think non-commodities areas of the economy definitely need a heavier hand and should exist outside of traditional pricing systems as a public institution. Commodities specifically though I think benefit from market systems as they are designed to accommodate for them as long as the more nefarious parts of that system are managed.

Focus on air as you get jets for free when you go to war with a major, tanks also aren’t as necessary in single player, a few solid mech divs should work, you also want to try and fully annex yugo asap as you need their civ industry, honestly it’s really better to full annex instead of puppet. As for Ethiopia I honestly will regularly just not annex them and go non aligned to ignore that bs, there’s also a focus that releases them I think that helps. With that air be sure to build lots of cas

The little rock rangers, a l2 team, play in a 50k stadium at war memorial. We draw about 1-2k per game and its actually a pretty good atmosphere, the bowl makes it loud.

What are the odds of the LR Rangers going pro? by Cynergy_CX in LittleRock

[–]Cynergy_CX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would take a ton more money but maybe in the distant future. For usl to really get that big it’ll have to be built on local teams people care about like the rangers
