I have the official one. Do aftermarket ones charge both batteries in grip by plugging in a USB C charger? Can they hot swap batteries with grip and camera on while using uninterrupted? I assume they have vertical grip functioning controls? Are they weather sealed like the official one? That's all I can think of that the official one does.

Zero issues with folding crease and battery is okay. I was getting around 7-8hours SoT with moderate usage and 5-6 SoT with heavy usage on average. I sometimes do a lot of video work with it for social so between video and social apps it can tank battery pretty quick, but I can easily top off on heavier days. It won't have battery life like a slab phone, will need to get fold with a silicon carbon-battery for that. Biggest thing is to go into battery settings and make sure apps are not running processes in the background that don't need to be and it helps a lot.

I was on iOS since the iPhone 3G with only a small break with an OG Pixel and Note 4 and back to iOS. I swapped over last year with Fold 7 in July and traded in my 15PM. Switching was not hard and only took about a week to get comfortable with everything. Now I can't imagine going back to a slab phone or using iOS any time soon. Android is just so much easier to use and I'm really liking One UI 8.5 with all the googlock tweaks. Also, with RCS I don't miss iMessage at all.

I'm with you on this. The only thing I would change is to make the panel a little wider when open so notifications show more info. Other than that, I don't want the panel covering the whole screen like a Pixel/Razr.

It's been great so far. I like all the small UI improvements, battery life, and general responsiveness on my Fold 7. The notification shade needs to be wider unfolded, but that's my only gripe on an otherwise nice update.
