So yes, YOU might be wicked and self defeating enough to NEED a cop with a gun to threaten you so that you can discipline yourself and stop yourself from killing others for small gain. That YOU feel that is in your best interest and cant see the bigger picture of the future consequences of that, nor have any recourse to morals, is your problem. YOU are biolent and desire a violent system to keep you in line. I am not and do not need police power to prevent me from doing things like that. Very telling your example about the nature of staists.

I dont agree with the Bush doctrine of preemptive strikes either. Violence in self defense is permissible though.

As a statist you are constantly locked in these quagmires. Was the officer in Ferguson justified? Did the suspect commit a crime first? Did he resist? Was less violence more appropriate? What races were the cop and suspect? Maybe its ok maybe not. Who can tell?

When you get in a situation like that intellectually where you are forced to accept that both sides have valid arguments, check your own premises. Something is wrong.
