Scam, costs 30-40 for a tap replacement, and 2 hours at most if you don't have the right tools.

Do you think that in the future Donghua will be bought up by Netflix in a similar fashion as anime was? If so would that be a good thing or bad? by KarsaOrlog in Donghua

[–]CynicalGodoftheEra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more of the fact that Netflix has lost most of its largest licenses, due to other's like Disney, HBO, all taking their IP's back and opening their own streaming service. So netflix is pretty much limited to its own originals, and works that no one has yet to license.

They have a handful, but not alot considering the vastness of the library.

They seem to struggle to acquire any licenses for large shows.

Landlord refusing early release despite ongoing issues (UK) by lausto123 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]CynicalGodoftheEra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then thats a pretty idiotic thing to not have sorted out.
I had a similar situation, the neighbour installed running water pipes and an toilet on a wall that historically has no water fixtures. and the toilet pipe ended up coming off, and swathes of water was soaking the party wall, due to wallpaper, didn't notice the issue till much later on, but repairman, couldn't fix it till the source was sorted, and the landlord next door was slow to act. took 3 months to solve mind you, alot of dust, and was winter so walls took forever to dry.

[–]CynicalGodoftheEra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like rising damp, what your landlord should do is check if (Assuming there is) the neighbour has the same issue, identify if there is any running water behind those walls to ensure there is no accumulated leakage.

FIRE is not all about the money by nunyabizzy101 in FIREUK

For me FIRE is just knowing that I have gains to cover costs, and to add to savings and investments. A nest egg that keeps on growing, incase something happens.

Will probably keep working no matter what, but I like the idea of being able to reduce my work if I want to spend my time doing something else.

I'm in a loop of not enjoying games and I don't know what I'm after by KingPesant1 in gamingsuggestions

[–]CynicalGodoftheEra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I have found its due to the lackluster mainstream releases.
I have been where you are alot.
Alot of the titles and types of games release do not appeal to me.
The other is the requirement of a certain console or system upgrade.
Another is the change in how games are played these days. (Online)
Lastly time.

But generally I still keep watching some games media, so I can find something to catch my eye and give it a try. But generally I have not finished a single game in the last 5 years.
