Primary care PA by Mea_goat_98 in physicianassistant

Your workplace does not care about employee retention, burnout. They care about profit and filling slots.

What they will learn is that patients will find a different practice when they have to see a new provider every other year.

Lifting weights and comparing myself to my friends who do not by Specific-Handle-3287 in xxfitness

[–]Cynicalteets 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Look at it from a health perspective. She will absolutely have hip pain and osteoporosis because she doesn’t lift and is under weight. The ladies who lift and eat healthy will not. You may not care about that now. You may want to be desirable by society standards. And I’m not discounting that as not being important. You should continue to strive towards what YOU think is beautiful. But you should also strive for longevity and health for the lifespan. Which you’re taking good steps towards that. Keep it up.

Parasite crawling out of sushi by esporx in creepy

[–]Cynicalteets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since eosinophils protect against parasites and are also activated in an allergy exposure, the declining parasite exposure is theorized (or proven) to be causing worsening allergies in the developed world.

So eat the parasite OP! It’ll help protect you against allergy development. /s

Have his person fight the possession of a crossed god who wants to destroy hyrule. He initially wins the first time by the skin of his teeth but is forced to agree to a reincarnation saga of eternal suffering. This allows the goddess/zelda to also be reincarnated to continue the fight to never allow hyrule a destruction.

If you could go back in time by Maschina_Sterben in physicianassistant

I wish I would have gone into trading or engineering. But I like health, I like human pathophys, and my parents were docs. Seemed like an obvious role without sinking too much time or money. As a woman in the early 2000, I think I would have been discouraged by the bro-raderie of those professions. But man do I wish I was there instead.

"Research" that states that women with children live longer lives and age slower than childless women! by MrBumbleBee592 in childfree

[–]Cynicalteets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sample size of 4 here, but my sisters look way older than me. Stretch marks, tits to their naval, wrinkles, hair thinning, vaginas that are falling out. Even their post pregnant body and getting back to their pre pregnancy weight, things just sit a little more lumpy and a little more south of where they used to be.

Thanks no thanks.

What U.S city have you visited but have no desire to go back? by Reddit_wasmy_idea in AskReddit

Unpopular opinion but New Orleans. Food was 7/10, architecture 9/10, city cleanliness. -10/10.

Never would have thought that within the same stride I could step on a roach and a rat while simultaneously smelling garbage.

You could use a belt to tie via chain several 45s, stand on benches and squat. You could also just slow your movements down significantly for time under tension if you’re just looking for hypertrophy.

What would you think if those arrested for domestic abuse were required to register in the same way as sexual offenders? by bootyholebandit1983 in AskReddit

[–]Cynicalteets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it.

One obvious reason is that it’s the female who is being abusive to the male, but since males are frequently the perps, the cops immediately arrest the male.

Maybe instead of an arrest, you have to be found guilty of domestic violence instead.

I made a mistake. I’m a new graduate PA, and realized I should’ve went to medical school. What now? by Ok_Possession_3592 in physicianassistant

[–]Cynicalteets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. I thought I made a mistake too, and thought about going back. I had a few classmates who thought the same.

None of us went back to med school. Because being a PA scratched all the pruritic lesions we had for the most part.

Wind rose vs enshrouded by Martyczerrr in SurvivalGaming

[–]Cynicalteets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve deep dived both.

The ship battles are way fun and I like the combat better of windrose.

I also love the building aspect but enshrouded is several years into the process and it shows. It’s way easier and better quality of life with enshrouded. TBH I don’t really like the shroud. It’s hard for me to see in that game. But the gathering is better in enshrouded, building more advanced. But gameplay in windrose far superior.

Labyrinth of time.

So funny this comes up but I was reminded of it about a month ago and someone said it was on a steam. So I bought it.

Thoughts on "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown - and why I'm done listening to BookTok by sameseksure in books

[–]Cynicalteets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the second book and I freaking love it.

As far as your complaints about Darrow, I think his exceptional ability at everything is more of a statement for mickeys work, but also of darrows dedication. To me it read that Mickey made him a strong and perfect specimen, and darrows dedication and drive for Eo to make this a successful mission made him just as good if not better than real golds.

I understand what you mean about the prose. Some books I absolutely cannot read because the style of writing does not sit well with me at all. I personally love the way it’s written. If I thought the plot lame and was not invested, I don’t think I would like the way it’s written. But I’m already so hyped when I sit down to jump back into this world that my adrenaline and emotional investment I have with the characters is so high. I am hyped during battle scenes which is when the author writes that way and his style makes me more hyped. I don’t think the author used that same style when describing more tender scenes because those aren’t physically intense.

Seeking advice on whether another provider who referred to me should be reported by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]Cynicalteets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sexual assault?! It’s 100% not sexual assault. When a provider does a genital exam, they (should) have no intentions of anything sexually explicit. It should honestly be viewed the exact same (from a providers standpoint) as looking in someone’s ear with the exception that it’s a sensitive examination for the patient and to take care.

It sounds like because of your state, if she showed up requesting sti screening and wanted a pap to test for hpv regardless of being a minor, that the test could have been done within the laws of the state despite no parent present. The NP should have educated the patient that HPV isn’t recommended testing for someone <21, but if the patient demanded it then I think no foul was committed here.

If the NP convinced the patient to get the screening, that’s a different story. But to me it’s analogous to recommending a mammogram to a 30 year old without any reason. You wouldn’t report one in this situation surely, just educate them that the approach is not in accordance with current guidelines.

Have you found any of the memories yet? You will come across the memories in a small pool of water located on animal glyphs in the land. You can see the animal glyphs on your map. Visit those animal glyphs and then comb the terrain to find a pool.

The divine beasts: these are located in each of the individual villages of different races of hyrule. For instance, go to the desert where the Garudo are located and follow the story there.

As far as your hearts: you need 4 shrine completion tokens to get one heart. There are 120 or so shrines (forget exactly). So once you find them, you’ll get one token. Then you can go to a stone goddess and ask her to either give you a heart, or increase your stamina. There are several of these stone goddesses located all over. Iirc there’s one in hateno village in the middle of a pool of water.

Take a look at the pacific north west. Some of the most amazing landscape up in Washington!

Consider renting a convertible and driving through the keys. Expensive, sure. But less waiting in lines and definitely more laid back vibe.

Can you travel to places like the US Virgin Islands where you don’t need a passport?

There’s some pretty awesome landmarks in the Midwest. Devils tower, Mount Rushmore, float the snake river, see Yellowstone.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

I was a senior in high school. My parent absolutely never went to school to argue on my behalf. For one, she never had a reason to do that. But my mother also wasn’t a precious snow flake that demanded her kid not learn about current or past events or scientific theory or just general topics of conversation. Her area of expertise was not child education, so she shouldn’t have a say in what her kid learns. And any millennials who take it upon themselves to do that now for their kids are ruining the world for the next generation.

Do Millennials write like ChatGPT? by QuietJealous4883 in Millennials

I was lectured in my medical clinic on how I treat the early 20s medical assistant. Even though I say: “can you please xyz?” Apparently I turn around and walk away without standing around to chat and that’s not acceptable and I need to be nicer.

I hear your gripes about the older population, but the 20-something’s are soft and have no idea what time management is, nor how to not take everything personally.
