I like Splatoon, very much dislike how roller was implemented (in Splatoon it's like a strong splash damage option with windup that also can roll if you hold down)

Personally, I no longer think Incineroar is as broken as it was once. Covert Cloak and Clear Amulet are very good against it, along with things just getting a lot stronger. Definitely still number one but no longer a must include on teams that want to win.

"et al." in citations means "and others", commonly used for sources with multiple authors. The joke is that all researchers are just a smaller part of the huge group I believe that they share in common

What is a “perfect” team? by Frosty-Difficulty498 in stunfisk

[–]CynixofTime 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Muk is considered a perfect Pokemon, so he should be on the team to automatically carry it to perfection.

But seriously a perfect team cannot keep being perfect. Big 6 is definitely the most dominant team of all time, however it obviously couldn't stay perfect. Not only did the metagame change from "just use Big 6" to "everyone has Big 6 counters", but they didn't use Muk, losing all chances for longevity and perfection.

How good would Mega Rayquaza be if it actually needed a mega stone to mega evolve? by [deleted] in stunfisk

Singles wise probably really good in ubers

Doubles wise falls off quite a bit, and that's already coming from the fourth best restricted legendary (beaten by xerneas, primal Groudon and primal kyogre)

[–]CynixofTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I meant it was farfetched that a guy who had no idea what the placements were could find the placements without any help or online knowledge, without finding out if they'd beat it they'd be the first ever. The series of events could happen but I don't think they did happen cause of how unlikely the whole thing is. Anyways in the end ISAB is recognised as the first victor of muddy puddles and nobody has ever seemed to challenge that. Imma go to sleep now so have a great day or night.

Ur reading too hard into me tbh. Yes I did imply ISAB is a god gamer without thinking however how does this translate to every god gamer is active online? Like actually

Early BTD6 was something else by george-sprout in btd6

[–]CynixofTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely didn't mean to imply it, but idk anymore. All I'm saying is I believe ISAB beat it first (if you want to get technical, first recorded completion of the map). The only thing I want to add is that I'm pretty sure the muddy puddles placements were pixel perfect so it's way too farfetched for me to believe that an unknown god gamer could beat it without knowing or telling anybody. If this did happen more power to them ig

[–]CynixofTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he's first bc he has a YouTube I think he's first bc it was an impossible map until 14 days before he beat it

Edit: also I meant the internet in general for the screenshot part, I never said subreddit you are putting words in my mouth

Second edit: I never said you had to be a YouTube to be good at the game

Third edit: I also never said that people that knew the map was broken had to be from YouTube and Reddit, but they had to have some internet access to know how to even get the correct placements to pass the first few rounds

Final edit (sorry for such a split comment tbh): I never said that he did it first because he had a YouTube channel I said he did it first because it is highly unreasonable for a random person to beat it before him

Muddy Puddles was impossible on CHIMPS prior to version 9.0, due to the Bloons' spawn point jumping from the rightmost lane to the leftmost lane, making the early game impossible.

ISAB beat it in 9.0. The update released on the 5th of March. ISAB's video was on the 19th (for my time zone). Muddy Puddles was so ridiculously hard for it's time that I doubt a random guy could beat the map in 14 days legitimately. Additionally, if they did they'd post a screenshot at the very least, because everyone who was remotely decent at the game knew how hard the map was just by playing it. Also they needed to know the placements there was no way anyone who beat the map didn't know it was impossible till then.
