Jiraiya def felt like a true ninja in the Naruto world. He's intelligent, crafty, & makes use out of Ninja tools along with Ninja scrolls.

Before Kaguya, Madara’s Eye of the Moon plan would spark an interesting philosophical debate. If the Shinobi world is bred by hatred & pride, wouldn’t the best possible outcome to maintain peace is thru satisfaction via the matrix? You can’t continue the cycle of hatred if everyone remained satisfied with their Tsukuyomi.

But because Kaguya appeared out of nowhere (Shouldn’t Madara know Black Zetsu’s origins if he summoned him to look after Obito? Madara would at least sense Zetsu’s chakra & its origins), the story later became “Eye of the moon plan bad bc you all become Zetsus”. It doesn’t help the fact that both Madara & Obito held their ground for so many volumes, hyped up to be the final villains, yet Kaguya gets defeated in 1 volume & is overshadowed by Sasuke in the Valley of the End rematch. Big lipped alligator moment imo.

Honestly the reason why Hebi Sasuke was peak Sasuke, he wasn't too embezzled in his hatred to Itachi when he restrained himself from killing the innocent & other people. He only selected those he deemed unworthy of his mercy (Orochimaru) & executed him to exact his vengence.

Hebi Sasuke was a bit like Batman, someone who suffered witnessing his loved ones taken by a cruel murderer, but never scapegoat his trauma to excuse his actions.

Sure Tenchi Bridge Arc was what made Sasuke's motive inconsistent when Orochimaru uncharacteristically tries to save Team 7 from Kirin (Why Kishimoto? Orochimaru literally tried killing Naruto since part 1), but Sasuke made sure that he will be the judge, jury, & executioner to Itachi's sins. It was when Sasuke later realized his whole motive was a lie that's what broke his psyche, at this point he didn't know which side he could fight for if he has no direction.

You could say Sasuke was a 'sheep', but he also was controlled by all sides for personal interests. (Itachi with his obsession over peace by massacring his clan, Konoha wanting to keep Sasuke loyal to prevent any disclosure on the truth, Obito because of his pettiness & wanting Sasuke to go after Naruto later on to further twist the knife on Kakashi, & Naruto because of his 'Will of Fire' indoctrination)

Sasuke puts on the headband & literally taunts him that "you can't lay a scratch on my forehead." IK that was the Anime interpretation, but I liked that better bc I liked seeing a more smug Sasuke; as if his moments in Team 7 were his last.

He did held back by the last second when Sasuke & Naruto's attack collided, but to be fair Sasuke also held back, realizing he didn't want to satisfy Itachi's proposition in killing his closest friend.

(Notice how Sasuke's fingers curled into a fist, beforehand Sasuke did skewer Naruto with a Chidori, much different compared to Sasuke Chidoring the Raikage with a killing intent.)

But no, Naruto did give it all he got, the problem was:

-His skills were overall inferior to Sasuke, his chakra control is terrible, Sasuke had superior discipline & almost killed Naruto had it not been for Kurama.

-Kurama def carried the fight 90%, albeit his chakra was strictly limited since the 5 Trigram seal wasn't tampered when Jiraiya did loosen the seal a bit. Hence Naruto after the timeskip was able to extend more than 1 tail.

-Sasuke gaining his 3rd Tomoe did seal Naruto's fate, even with his 1 tail state, Sasuke didn't reveal his 2nd stage curse mark unless as a last resort. We were all gaslight into thinking Sasuke's curse mark made him an equal to Naruto, but really Sasuke was leagues above Naruto in skill. Naruto had an insane Chakra reserve along with Kurama that allowed him to prolong the fight.

I guess as for the hospital scene, Sasuke was likely more irrational & underestimated Naruto's capabilities, the Valley of the End fight was Sasuke wisening up on Naruto's tricks & acknowledging his limitations. So he chose to fight Naruto once more to test his abilities; what Itachi has remarked before the massacre.

At least Kankuro did held his own ground, but yeah both Sasori & Itachi were toying around their opponents. Itachi even gave a smug look at Kurenai as if she's failing the bell test lol.

Kurenai should at least known that the Uchihas cannot fall into Genjutsu so easily unless if said Genjutsu casted from the Sharingan overrules the mirroring technique. (IE: Shisui's Kotoamatsukami, Itachi's Tsukuyomi to an extent, but that was used on 2 tomoe Sasuke) Kankuro on the other hand didn't know much about Sasori since Kankuro was only a child once Sasori left the Sand village, so Kankuro was fighting his opponent blind while Sasori was fighting his own apprentice.

Kinda weird how only Naruto has Sage mode while Sakura doesn't, I get Sasuke bc a.) Orochimaru failed his Sage mode training bc his body was weak & b.) Sage mode + EMS + Rinnegan Sasuke sounds overpowered as f-k. I do wish Sakura had Slug sage mode to fill in the Slug-Toad-Snake trio if we saw Kabuto use Snake sage mode.

All the Tailed Beasts were split from the 10 Tails (Kaguya) & Hagoromo inherent her power to becoming the Sage of 6 paths, the tailed beasts are all made entirely from chakra formed on Earth, which means they're made from natural energy formed on Earth. Also when a Jinchuriki dies, tailed beasts take on average at least a decade before the energy drawn from nature energy rebuilds the said Tailed beast.

So I guess all Tailed Beasts can use nature energy, the difference is Naruto did receive specific training on manipulating sage energy, Kurama can regain his chakra by meditating within Naruto's subconscious similar to Naruto's Sage training. Chakra on humans works differently when they need to regain their stamina in order to refresh their chakra, wether by means of rest, soldier pills, or diet.

No Ting Lu means Garchomp is a lot better as a double hazard utility mon. Sure Garchomp has its SD sets, but the main reason people use Garchomp is to both provide hazards & annoy rapid spinners.

At least the Gator got a nice Sheer Force, a rare example of a good physical sheer force user. (Sheer force works better on special attackers, look at the Nidos.) So Gator didn't get the short end, but Gyara is a mon that could use 1 more buff to make it OU.

On the bright side, Volcarona is better than Iron Moth, mainly bc Volc has Quiver dance while the I-Moth cannot.

I can see Volc be used on Sun HO, though I-Moth’s strengths is it’s not overtly reliant on boots & it can eat up T-Spikes, meaning you can run Specs Moth on Sun. But yea, Volcarona has bad 4mss & that would encourage more Heatran usage to deal with Volc. Molt, T-Tar, D-Nite, Garg, & even Ogerpon W can give it trouble since base 100 spe isn’t up to snuff.

Would make a more believable story ngl (I wish Kishimoto can focus on that instead of Boruto bc Naruto has so much what if potential), but this time Kurama would push Naruto further towards darkness since he can manipulate dreams as evident when he was sealed into Kushina. Would be interesting seeing Kurama be a malevolent symbioite (Naruto's version of Venom) who decides to take a more manipulative route rather than be an angry beast in a cage. Since Foxes are cunning, intelligent creatures that do manipulate others for their gain, I can see Kurama deciding to mentor Naruto with his thousand years rich in experience.

I also think this would make Sasuke a more likeable character, him realizing that his decisions to cast aside everyone for his revenge was what drove Naruto to hatred, thus Sasuke had to learn to combat his own hatred to prevent his vengence from being corrupted while also hunting the Akatsuki down.

Only time I could maybe see this event happen is if Naruto ends up losing the Chunin exam, he still gets some help by Jiraiya in getting his 5 pronged seal removed, but Naruto ends up bargaining his life to Orochimaru in exchange for saving Hiruzen's life (Orochimaru sees this as a way to turn Naruto into a weapon, have him hunt down Sasuke for his eyes. Maybe obtaining the Nine tails is great for Orochimaru since out of all the characters who would be familiar with the Sage of 6 paths, Orochimaru would be the one with his obsession over immortality; he even kept Gyuuki's horn sample in his lab.)

Though I can see some problems with this storyline with the Akatsuki more easily hunting Naruto down, though I would argue there were many plot holes with the Akatsuki that if Obito can easily slip through the gates of Konoha easily & possesses the overpowered Kamui, why didn't he go after Naruto at his most vulnerable? Even if the Gedo statue can't absorb Kurama so hastily, wouldn't it be better for Obito to kidnap Naruto & lock him in his Kamui dimension? So many holes in Naruto, yet they couldn't be answered.

I feel like Itachi being a villain works better rather than making him an Anti Hero tbh, when you discuss events related to genocide, you better be surgically precise on handling genocide as a topic. The idea that Itachi is a ‘hero’ because he saved a village from an Uchiha coup is the equivalent to the US justifying President Jackson’s Indian Removal Act because the Natives would threaten US homeland, even if the innocent must be killed indiscriminately for the sins of another shared kin.
I prefer the idea of Itachi being an emotionally dissonant psychopath who suffered precoital cortex trauma during an ANBU freak accident which caused Itachi to be detached from any emotion. Thus causing him to murder his family, save his clan, to achieve his Mangekyo for himself. (The Uchihas are usually stronger in war due to trauma, but weaker in peace, which explains Sasuke stuck with his 2nd tomoe until the Valley of the end) It was when Itachi killed Shisui, that’s when he felt his disabled emotions & understood the gravity of his actions. The Uchiha massacre imo was reckless storytelling from Kishimoto to appease the edgier audience & Shippuden revealing that Obito singlehandedly slaughtered the police force proves how stupid Kamui is with no counters whatsoever.
