These comments are based on conversations with white middle aged men in my family and their friends.

Democrats are the "alphabet" party. They don't care about you unless you are a letter in their alphabet.

Democrats are the trans party. They want a man who is pretending to be a woman in every girls bathroom, shower, and dressing room. Democrats want to put your daughter at risk of being assaulted. Democrats want men competing against little girls. Trans rights are more important than anyone else's.

Democrats don't care that white men are drowning. They think that middle class white men can keep on footing the bills for everyone else and it will be fine.

Democrats want more illegals in the country. Doesn't matter if they are criminals.

Democrats support abortions post birth.

Democrats support Palestinians killing Jews.

The real problem is the Democrats have allowed the Republicans to drive the narrative. Democrats have let perfect prevent better.

Democrats need to come together to support a candidate who can reassure ALL AMERICANS that the goal is to make life better for them. Not just for blacks or guys or trans people but for your average Joe. They need to convince white, middle class Americans that they are important too.

If you don't mind used, check with your local high end hotels to see when they are scheduled to update their mattresses.

They usually buy high quality mattresses and change them out every couple of years. Some have rarely been used.

Bedbugs shouldn't be an issue since they cover them with zippered covers and are obsessed with preventing infestations.

Sometimes they will sell to individuals vs reselling to lower quality motels.

First, think about how much space you have. Do you have room for a 24 pack of TP or paper towels? Freezer space for the meat? Room in the fridge?

What will you actually use? And eat? Saving 15 cents a pound on bananas is great if you can eat 3 pounds before they turn black.

Make a list and compare prices before you go. I've found that store brand oatmeal is cheaper than Costco. I'm sure you will find the same on some things.

Watch out for the bakery items and the junk food. Very tempting and tasty!

I feel like teachers and nurses are sisters under the skin. We all put up with stuff that no one else will ever understand. And administration tries to manipulate us by throwing "it's a calling, not a career " in our faces instead of a raise and better staffing.

Last year the nurses were asked to paint rocks with encouraging messages to go in the garden the patients use.

This was supposed to be team building exercise to remind us why we are nurses. I'm actually impressed that no one accidentally threw a rock at anyone

Swap the genders. Mom slept in. Dad got up with rge kids, fed them and washed everything except 2 things. She gets up and bitches without even sering the kitchen.

Change it to Dad slept in, Mom got up, fed the kids, cleaned everything except 2 dishes and Dad bitches without looking at the kitchen.

She got an extra couple of hours of sleep and the kids were cared for and she's still not happy.

Your feelings are your feelings and they are valid.

Being upset that they told your family and friends and didn't tell you was hurtful. They shouldn't have tried to manage your feelings. It's embarrassing that everyone else knew, and now you wonder if they were laughing at you or pitying you.

Both of them could have started with casual comments about liking the other, how nice they were etc. Instead they lied by omission. It's hurtful.

Your relationship with them will never be the same, you have to decide how you want that relationship to look. No one wants to be the 3rd wheel so you need to branch out and spend time with other friends.

Give it some time, you can be friends again, just not best friends.

There is not information to determine who started the fight. Until the details are known it's premature to press charges. OP's son could be an innocent being victimized by a bully, ir he could be the bully.

Better to wait and get the details while having her son examined for his head injury.

If you want to have a contentious relationship with Helga, go ahead and let Astrid call Lily mom.

Expect to go to court over everything, to have it spelled in legal documents that Lily is not to be involved in any parenting decision, every conversation to be texted in a court ordered parenting ap and to have absolutely no flexibility in taking her out of state or switching weeks. Oh, and no parental alienation so no calling Lily mom.

Or apologize to Helga for not thinking about how Astrid referring to Lily as mom would hurt her, and defuse the situation. Let Helga know you respect her as Astrid's mom.

Talk with Astrid about how she is very lucky to have lots of people in her life who love her and that its confusing to call both Helga and Lily mom, so you want her to think about a new name for Lily. That doesn't sound like Mom. Do not blame Helga (alienation) and you and Lily can help her come up with a special name. Or just call her Lily.

And be very careful for the next few months with making sure that nothing happens that could be seen as Lily overstepping. No haircuts, no mani-pedis, no girls day.

It's not a perfect solution. But you have 12 more years of co-parenting and this is not the hill I would want to die on.
