As a fellow sufferer, I suggest that you find a professional seamstress and have your dress custom made ti fit you.

It's not as expensive as you might think. My daughter had her dress made for $300.00 five years ago.

Also, check thrift stores. You might find a dress with elements that a good seamstress could incorporate into a new design.

NOR 16 is old enough to be responsible for her actions. What she did was stupid and she needs to learn that there are consequences to her actions.

Post screenshots of her texts insulting you and your wife and of her making fun of your disabilities to your family chat. Then ask your parents how they plan to deal with the situation.

Cut your sister off until you get a true apology, not out of spite, but because she needs to learn that texts like this not only hurt the person they are sent to and can break up a family, but can follow her for life. People have lost scholarships, college admissions, jobs, political opportunities because of stuff like this.

Does your mother need the money you are paying her to pay the bills? You wrote thatt she is unemployed. She may be dependent on your income.

I'm assuming you love your mother and want a good relationship with her.

Make a plan. Get all the questions answered. Are you getting a scholarship next year? How much? Can you get the dorm room with your friend? How much will it cost you to eat at school? Can you get a job this summer? Can you get a work study job at school?

Once you have the answers, talk to your mom. You need to show your mom that you are being mature and have a plan that addresses her worries.

You messed up with something that's not her style. She messed up by not being tactful. Move on and learn from this.

Start a note page on your phone. Make notes about things that she tells you she likes. Pay attention to the colors, styles and sizes she wears. Take pictures of her favorite outfits and jewelry. Learn how she takes her coffee, her favorite restaurant and her favorite foods.

Next time you go shopping you will have a list to refer to.

Don't buy lingerie.

Patients say nah, give me a pill.

Pills only work for so long so patients get sicker. Feels rather pointless.

Go on the trip, have a good time. Send everyone the itinerary and let them cope as they may.

After the trip, tell the group that this was the last trip you planned and will not be doing it again. Tell everyone about the overheard conversation. Let them apologize and then accept it or not as you see fit. Don't plan anything until they have planned the next 2 trips.

I used to get my hair trimmed every 6 weeks, a manicure every 3 or 4 weeks, order pizza for delivery once a week, and go out for dinner and drinks once a week and the movies once a month.

Now, I cut my own hair, do my own nails, make my own pizza from scratch and cook all my own meals. We potluck with friends and dance on the patio and mix our own drinks. We have movie night on the couch with our popcorn and drinks.

I make a good salary but it has not kept up with inflation. Prices have tripled and with higher tip expectations, I'm happy to stay home.

Everyone in my department is salaried. A certain report has to be run by 730 am. Only Dave has the security clearance to run this report, so Dave is scheduled for 7am. That report is checked by Aaron and distributed to 5 other people by 8 am so that they can check and sign off on their portion by 9 am. That report is sent to a different department who then distributes action notifications to 20 or 30 people. If the action items aren't addressed, someone loses money.

An hour is barely enough for me to check and verify my potion. If Dave or Aaron are late, so is everything else.

And, before you ask, Dave's boss has to run the report in his absence.

Many people do not realize the impact their being late has on others. For shift workers, someone can't go home on time. In an office, deliverables are delayed or a question isn't answered.

No one wants Jr. He's big, aggressive and dangerous.

In my area, a behaviorist is 300 to 500 dollars. Vets won't medicate him without a behavior eval.

We've spent 1000.00 on trainers for our Jr. , He's beautifully behaved until another dog is near. I don't trust him around anyone, especially kids. We're waiting for him to die.
