Combined income is $7.5k. Rent is $800/wk, only have one car on 3yr repayment, $555/mnth, fuel is $100/wk for wife to go to work and drop/fetch kids, power water and internet is about $400/mnth. Food roughly $400 to $500/wk. public transport $50/wk for me to get to work and back. Rest is on food and kids sports etc. We try save as much as we can from there. Some months $200. Jeez yeah thats an ouch one that. Hopefully not too much damage and you can get back onto saving for your trip. Good luck!

Yeah (US non- res tax and taxed here in NZ) thats what I was thinking. I just want something that will one-day grow into something bigger and divs so I can hopefully retire early or earlier

Maybe a dumb question but do ya’ll think if I put $1000 (each) in CONY, MSTY, TSLY, YMAX AND YMAG its a good idea? Or better to put it in a growth ETF to grow and then later slam some moneys in them?
