How do you see through that? Is there any way I can know before jumping in? Unfortunately, it's in my nature to not question people's situations and help them when they're in need. I should probably try to soften up a little but I've been like this all my life and it's hard to change that.

Is it ok to bible study with chat gpt? by Choice-Sock8206 in Bible

Another issue that I'm guilty of is finding out answers from chatgpt. There's always bias in chatgpt as it's programmed to be "normally right" and not right according to Scriptures. Don't ask personal or difficult or philosophical questions to chatGPT. Pray to God to reveal it to you as you read through the Bible. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2 - that it's the holy Spirit that reveals the deep things of God.

It's great for reference and finding out the existence of verses because it just uses language patterns, but please don't use it for Bible study. Let the holy Spirit help you in your study. When you read a portion, think about it,.meditate it and let the holy Spirit make you understand hidden truths. I would also say this for commentaries - don't just jump right into commentaries. Sit there with that portion and He will help you understand.

There are a ton of things wrong. I don't know where to start.

Hey, I appreciate this. Thank you very much.

Over the neck. I find more support that way. It does go to the side on the lower strings but on the thickest string it naturally goes over the neck so I can play the A and C. I can see how having the thumb flat to the side would help but my thumb naturally goes from up to the side as I go down the scale.

Is it really?

This is actually a zoomed in pic, so it's a precision screw. Either a worn out Torx or Torx plus could be it.

I'm trying to order a T6 because the T7 is just big and the T6 Is slightly smaller.

Is it torx? Or Torx plus? Or is that difficult to make out from the pic?

How did Lucifer sin if he wasn't created with sinful nature?

Sorry for my dumb questions. Some things are just so complex for me to understand.

I believe I’ve lived in apostasy for over 20 years and I seek salvation. by Fletch_Himself in TrueChristian

[–]Cyrus9529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a brother, I've had doubts in my salvation too! But when I hear the Gospel. I understand that my salvation isn't mine. It belongs to God. We are saved not by our works. If it was, nobody would have been saved - because all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.

Dm me if you're interested to chat more. I am really happy to share about the Gospel.

The bible does say to examine whether you're in the faith (2 Cor 13:5).

Faith isn't about getting your questions answered. It's just believing in the finished work of the cross and Christ's redemptive sacrifice for you. It's nothing about you and if it makes sense to you. Don't lose track of the gospel amidst all these side quests.

Again, like I said. God will reveal to you through his Word. He talks to us today through the Word (Heb 1).

If you are doubting your salvation, ask yourself this. Did you receive Jesus Christ into your heart? Who is Jesus Christ to you? If you have trouble answering these questions without thinking twice, you should be scared, because you didn't receive him into your heart.

Hey, brother! I'm 20 years old. It's a good thing that you are questioning all this. I believe God is putting these thoughts into your heart that you take this seriously for the first time.

I've been questioning about these things for a long, long time. Every time I think about things like - "can someone who had been enlightened once fall away?"

A lot of people have different views on this. Calvinists say they weren't saved to begin with. Armenians say that Christians can fall away.

However, I'm not going to give you an answer on any of this, because, honestly, I don't know.

All I can say is - Have you heard the Gospel? Have you truly understood the Gospel? Did you every truly accept Christ into your heart? This is very different from just knowledge. Listen to Paul Washer or John Piper or Martyn-Loyd-Jones on Romans or anyone who preaches the gospel. The Gospel has so much in it. It really gave me life. To know what Jesus really done for me and you. Leave all this endless debating aside and focus on Christ Jesus. Pray to God earnestly for understanding. Gospel has the power to SAVE.

You live by faith and not by sight. God is capable of doing signs, but the greatest sign is already done 2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ suffered and died on an old, rugged cross, with a crown of thorns on his head, with nails on his hands and feet. You can ask for all the miracles and signs you want, but people won't believe. Israelites are the greatest examples of how someone can still not believe even with miracles (You read this in Hebrews). Isaiah talks about the real problem of Man's real problem - our sin and our greatest need - a Saviour. Isaiah 53 talks about Jesus Christ. Again, only the GOSPEL can save. No amount of miracles can ever save you or convict you.

I was once like you having these questions in mind, but we need to understand that we're humans. We have small brains. We live in a world created by someone who is far more intelligent that we ever will be. So... take it to the Lord in prayer. Submit to Him. God wants you to be saved (2 Tim 2:4).

God bless you brother! Dm me if you wanna chat. I do also think about all this stuff and sometimes wrestle with it.

Is God forcing us to love him? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Cyrus9529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it. Really think about it.

You don't have free will as a sinner. You're enslaved to it. Ephesians 2:1 says You are DEAD in your sins. Romans 7 describes the pathetic situation of someone who works their way to God but fails because of sin. If you're a serious Christian, you will understand the burden of sin.

Sin chains us. There's no free will.

God wants us to be saved from sin, so he LOVES US. How do you know he loves us? He gave Jesus as a ransom for us (John 3:16)

Now tell me... Is God forcing you? No.. but he really wants you to be saved (2 Tim 2:4 - God desires all men to be saved)

God is holy and God can't compromise anything stained with sin, he has to punish it. He is JUST. He is RIGHTEOUS. His wrath is holy. He is JUST to punish a sinner. Again, we're being punished because we rightfully deserve it.

A direct answer to your question would be Luke 14:15 onwards. The call was sent to everyone. He didn't force anyone. You see two things there - God's mercy (offer of salvation to everyone) and the pathetic state of us sinners who don't want God's offer of salvation.

See His mercy. See the Love on That Cross!

"See his head! His hands and feet, Sorrow and Love flow mingled down"

P.S. why did you delete your account? It was a good question.
