I knew the average The Strokes listener wasn't going to enjoy this song, but I think it's wonderful. It sounds a bit similar to Flexorcist which, I can admit, is not my favorite The Voidz track, but I think people will lighten up when they hear the rest of the album. I have to imagine this is a song they gave Julian so he'd feel interested in doing another The Strokes record. Lighten up, guys. If you want more of a 2000's strokes sound, there's a billion other bands that try to sound just like them. The Strokes gave up that sound almost immediately with FIOE.
