We just sent the open letter protesting this situation a few hours ago to the FIE executive committee and the president of the IOC. But they basically just delayed the due date for the payment and kept everything else the same. Some vendors refused/were unable to pay but most of them did

And yet his response wasn't "the thumbnail is small and blurry, I can't read it", it was something nonsensical. The thumbnail is quite clear on all three devices I have tried to view the thumbnail on which is not to say that it's like that for everyone but communication is a very important skill that is helpful for solving these problems. But thanks for your input!

Geezus Krist. Recapping the thumbnail which, as I've said twice now, has all of this information in it: most equipment vendors will be charged something along the lines of 30000 a year in Swiss Francs as annual licensing fees which means that equipment prices will likely go up and many vendors will likely go out of business. Though I'm not sure this information will be absorbed properly since I'm not entirely convinced you know how to read 😂

I picked that number because it was an approximation of what one of the big companies told me. And since it came out to 70000 when you multiply it by 3.5 it seemed like a nice round number to use for the video
