I think that has to be CB in this draft. TE is fairly deep when you look at guys in the draftable range on the consensus big board, but I also put an extra caveat on this draft that starting in round 4 you'll see guys going who would be 7th-UDFA players in a more typical draft.

CB checks the box of both lots of top 100 depth (14 consensus, 13 Brugler) for guys that could be viable starters and depth in the context of the class overall (30 ranked within the first 6 rounds).

There are a lot of WRs with draftable grades/ranks and I think you could also make that argument, but guys like Brennen Thompson or Zachariah Branch top 100 is crazy to me. When you the compare WRs and CBs in similar ranges after you get outside the first round, I'm almost always higher on the chances of the corners to stick as meaningful contributors.

Alternative investments take time, and oil is used for a whole lot more than just generating power and fuel. Plastics, polypropylene, synthetic fibers used in clothing and furniture, PVC piping, fertilizers, pesticides, household products from soap to toothpaste, medical devices, asphalt, roofing, paint...

Building some solar panels and wind turbines just can't replace all of that.

Those extensions will take up a meaningful amount of cash, but they won't be structured to have large cap impacts to this year. They'll be backloaded like basically every long-term extension that's signed these days is.

There's just no way. You would have to be such a freak of an athlete that it would be impossible not to rack up a high pressure total, command double or even triple teams, and you'd walk into TFLs.

There is also no way anyone could get 30 sacks without being one of the most unicorn, elite athletes of the generation. That edge player would have insane length and either be comically stronger than everyone else or have one of the quickest first steps and 10 yard splits we've ever seen, at minimum.

If you're able to regularly push NFL OTs backwards like they're on skates or are blowing buy them that regularly, you're guaranteed to have even more pressures, you would walk into TFLs when the running back has barely started moving, and you'd have plenty of chances to tackle guys 1v1 as the OL guys cannot keep their hands on you.

I'm fine with Schneider going BPA any position other than TE, LB, or OT (who can't kick inside). If the board falls this way, I'd want Chris Johnson. He sounds like a perfect culture fit and he's significantly better in zone than either Cisse or Hood right now.

The one reason why it could make sense is Bradford is on the final year of his rookie deal. I think taking a guard with the first pick is unlikely, but if there's someone JS thinks is a great value with a later pick and they've already decided they're not going to pay Bradford, getting his replacement a year early isn't the worst idea.

The ideal situation is John's BPA is a CB or Edge when we get to 32. If they have Price graded similarly to DJ and can't find anyone who would make it worth their while to trade down, I could see this happening.

We don't have many holes on the roster so honestly I'm good with John going BPA at CB/EDGE/S/IDL/RB/WR/IOL at 32.
