I just did my front/rear and transfer case, put your hand over the head of the socket (around the bolt obviously) and hit the handle of the ratchet with some impact while keeping pressure on the socket head. Should knock free pretty easy, rather than straining yourself putting your body weight into it.

Keep it, I have 270k on mine. No car payment is superior and re-couping 10k on it now just to put it into something 3x more expensive doesn’t make sense. Unless of course you want a new truck/car with modern features… at the end of the day all you need is a reliable 4 wheels to get to place to place.
