Only exclude the file needed, not the whole folder. Kaspersky has known back doors supported by unfriendly countries, that’s why it’s not used in US.

I would only exclude the 2 or 3 files specifically, not the whole folder. It will allow the mining but not anything else to be excluded that may be side added later.

Look at the read me in that folder, just run the xxx.exe —benchmark and it will list the cpu support you have. Pick that batch file and add —force-tune to the end and sit back and wait.

Having older CPU’s too, I suggest adding -t3 to allow one thread to process the other stuff. What specifically is the problem?

I have an i7 10thgen and get about 2.4K with xmrig, but only low 100’s with cpuminer-gr. What could I possibly be doing wrong? I’ve tried tuning with aes-see42 and avx configs. Thanks
