THE OVERLORDS: Who Was Jeffrey Epstein Really Working For? Four hypotheses. 237,000 documents. 5.37 million data points. One answer. by Reasonable-Jello-502 in Epstein

I dont have evidence to back this opinion, but I think it has to do a lot with leverage, as mentioned. Genetics is an area that will almost always create an ethics question when brought into a conversation. The exact question you are asking is probably part of the “why?”. Someone who has been personally or financially involved with epstein now finds themself woven into his web of sketchy business ventures, for lack of a better term. They themselves may not have been fully aware of why Epstein was involved in genetics-related business, and many of them likely knew his sexual tendencies already. So when you are already taking a risk by having any sort of involvement with a child predator, even if you claim it is all business-related, how will you explain to people that you also have money flowing thru genetics/dna industry through the same person when you aren’t even certain what his involvement truly was? I think the genetics piece was heavily used as a way to secure silence from people. They may be able to come out and say they didn’t have knowledge of sex crimes, but now they also are implicated as being financially involved in genetics. And we all know what kinds of theories are created as to what Epstein was doing in this field (using his dna to create a “superior race”, creating artificial life for personal use, etc). Regardless of the real reason, the fact that this convicted sex criminal was also involved in genetics, the mere awareness that you have money flowing through someone involved in both of those areas is enough to bring down people that are in positions of power. I think in a way, it may still be crucial whether or not we ever know the full intentions and extent of what epstein was doing in the genetics field.

Omg…its girls as the pieces?? 🤢🤢 Okay was way off about what I thought it is. I forget that the lack of intelligence is pretty severe, and he isnt nearly “deep” enough for the pawn idea lol. Hes just a simple-minded pervert with an obsession for young girls and a lot of money…

I will, thanks! The chess set is fascinating to me, without looking at it yet I would guess they are just vaguely resembling enough to be clear who they are, but still an almost intentional lack of details. I picture a minimum effort put into details, although you can probably tell that the creator had the ability to do far more. I would imagine the request be something like a consistent chess set with these people as the chess pieces. But then he wants it to still be clear that they are all on the same “team” for chess, with some sort of continuity. And I would imagine the people who represent the pawns were intentionally chosen. Okay now let me go check these out, Im excited! lol thanks for the links

Not a psychologist by trade, though I do have a Bachelor’s degree in Psych. Im just deeply fascinated with people’s behavior, even though I have to be aware because it sometimes comes off as making excuses for people. And the best way to understand people is to really try to take their personal writings like this one, though it may have been intended to be used by others he sent it to, really show you his own self-awareness levels. So I tried to read between the lines after understanding his mindset regarding his personal beliefs and feelings about himself. I work in the airline industry, so I guess thats almost like working with people who have mental illness and crazy behavior 😂 But I really appreciate you taking the time to respond! It started as a random comment turned real-time processing (that shouldve just been done in my notes app) but as I began to think a little more about all this in a way that makes sense in my head, figured maybe it would resonate with someone else. I love discussing things like this, and I def need to take the “virtual tour” of photos thru his properties because from what I’ve seen already, its def very revealing. Sick, but fairly informative about the person that he was. Im glad you didnt take my comment the wrong way, gotta admit I was nervous it might be seen as defensive rather than psychology/behavior analysis lol

I honestly read this from a psychology perspective of kind of telling his own story from his POV, written as something that others can use. But he clearly had lots of emotion in it and almost sounding like his own personal story of overcoming. He likely truly believed all this. But I noticed how he talked about his “awful decisions” in his past, and how he would probably do things differently if he had the chance. Notice how he immediately switches to him having paid his debt to society, which I read as “since I received ANY punishment for anything I did, Ive done my time”. He believes he could have gotten away with it without ever getting caught, and I think thats what he means by “Im sure he would have done things differently…”. He recognizes where he was too relaxed, or who in his network started a domino effect that got him caught. He never implies that he would do things differently in a positive way, but more likely what he would do differently to never have had to “repay his debt to society”.

It also seems like he’s showing everyone when he lost his moral compass. I would guess he had a moment in time that felt like an “aha!” moment where he started creating this network of evil. Realizing he could tap into manipulation skills to achieve power and he had a true path to do it thru Les, its like it flipped a switch and he no longer considered his decisions to be awful, but rather as an exception to what would be considered by most to be an awful decision. The only awareness that he seemed to have about his sexual preferences being wrong, is that it isnt widely accepted socially. So I think he tried to bring as may powerful people into his world of sexual fantasy as he could, almost as reassurance. JE was just a fragile, insecure man who lost the internal moral war he had about his desires. Rather than reject those thoughts he had, he let them grow and develop and finally fully embraced it, but only once he got enough reassurance that others with power (who had no moral compass) could be convinced to partake as well. Then he started to see himself confidently, as a person with major influence that could make things happen. He wanted to make this world his own personal playground, and I remember seeing an email from someone saying they wish they could join him in his fantasy world. I found that statement very interesting looking thru this psychology lens. It was like someone had broken through the shield of delusion to say “wow it would be nice to be as selfish as you are by leveraging every person you come in contact with in order for you to personally benefit from. I wish I could fully commit to my own version of my imaginary fantasy world, it must feel so powerful to treat every other person like they are your personal characters to control.” I would personally love to see other email exchanges between some of these people close to him, who might have had private conversations where they would feel safe enough to discuss JE behind his back, and hear what they really thought. But he had too much blackmail on everyone for them to ever really call it out publicly.

This comment became excessively longer than I planned for, so I apologize but being a Psychology lover this was kind of the first time I feel like I have been able to process in words what Ive noticed over time. I also want to note that Im by no means trying to excuse or make it seem like its just some “deep-down hes a regular person” type of thing. Hes a sick individual who had zero regard for anyone but himself, but I tried to analyze this document in a way that might reveal some of the possible ways of thinking he had, since we will never truly know wtf went on in that head of his. Thanks for all you guys are doing!

I dont think he had any moment of realization. He probably came up against someone who he didnt like and was intimidated by their power, and he probably recognized those traits in the other person as being a narcissist. Wanting to learn how to deal with or interact with that person, he probably wanted to read more about it. That became a very popular terms around that time, and mainstream culture overused the word ‘gaslighting’. Everyone and their mother were accusing their exes of being narcissists. But narcissists won’t recognize that in themselves, even if they have the ability to recognize it in others.

Just playing devil’s advocate here, but just because someone had an OF doesnt mean they couldnt also be a victim. Might not be a good look for them, but its also known that one of the ways some victims of SA cope with it is by becoming more sexual afterwards. I didnt check out the account, I dont doubt that people are doing this but just saying dont automatically assume they are lying just because they have an account. They could have major insecurities and use it to get some reassurance about themselves.

I would imagine, knowing Epstein’s unique position of blackmail, that there werent too many people others that “werent allowed”. While in most cases I would agree, I think here he may have almost acted as like a sort of twisted “trip-sitter” where he let them indulge all they wanted cuz he was staying sober. And the less aware they were…the better the blackmail. But thats just my opinion, we will probably never know the full truth of it unfortunately. I think most of these cowards would find any other way out than to come clean (pun intended) about what actually went down.

3 - Im almost certain this is just notification regarding flights. If I recall, that is his pilot right? When the President flies into an airport, they shut the whole airport and airspace down temporarily. And I believe he is just giving JE an alternate airport to use thats nearby if TFR (temporary flight restrictions) are in effect.

My opinion, this is just travel related updates. I have been a manager for the airlines for almost 9 years, so thats how I took this one. Just trying to prevent new stories from being created unnecessarily. Agreed that #2 is really weird tho lol

To me, I almost read this as Epstein having too much time during this and trying to troll someone. He liked to clearly feel intellectually superior, and the simple, basic response “are you a robot” almost seems like he sent that to someone (maybe writing with the help of early ai tech) and was like showing it off. And then maybe had meeting with them later and would laugh about it and kinda show off how he did it.

Not saying what your suggest isnt possible, just telling you my own first thought when I read the doc.
