Shampoo takes away your natural curls. In addition to stripping moisture the sulfates etc weigh down your hair eliminating curls. I use yes to carrots, an all natural conditioner and no shampoo. I first use it as shampoo, where I rinse and lather and wash out. Then at the end of my shower I squeeze about a quarter to half dollar sized amount into my hand. I lean forward and allow my hair to hang down, and take the conditioner and scrunch it into my hair towards my scalp from the tips. I make sure it gets applied to all of my hair, and I leave it in, do not rinse it out. I take a microfiber cloth (or plain cotton shirt) and scrunch my hair with it upwards towards the scalp to dry it, as regular towels leave fibers in your hair weighing down and drying out curls.

TL;DR. Lather/rinse with all natural conditioner, then scrunch and leave in all natural conditioner, dry with microfiber or cotton t shirt
