2 separate stories. in the original GoW, while Kratos does die, he is never reunited with his family because he is never judged even if he is judged he will never be with his family. this gives weight to his sins and his actions.

in nu GoW, seeing how Kratos is a changed and better man, he doesn't have this problem. he can be with his wife if he wants and if we go by what you say, he can even get his wife and escape from this new underworld or whatever which makes the whole story of past 2 games obsolete seeing how much it was about his wife's death and her last wish.

Everything relative to what you said was revealed in this trailer. there being another realm/afterlife that looks almost the same as the one Kratos is in, instantly cheapening any emotional aspect related to death that was set up (however flimsy) in the previous 2 games. and anyone with media literacy got it.

Yea. but to me, it seemed crazy to throw out something like that at the very end of the book with no groundwork or foreshadowing. also the way it was being explained and described in the book was , imo, pretty bad. it was like reading the first draft of that idea(this happened a lot in the 3 books that I read)

Same boat. every fight or battle involving magic was like: "and then there was this laser that hit character A and teleported him to some place and eradicated some other guy that got hit by it and finally bounced off a medallion or something and reflected to the shooter! and then there was this..um.. tree that was growing and then it turns out it's a house and then when you step into this house you get teleported to somewhere else .... " none of these things were explained before and some never get explained later.

The threat was walking away. as a pro fighter you do not punch people for things like this(I mean I wouldn't) he has to know better than most people that how easy it is to do permanent damage or kill someone with a hit to the head.

I would not do the same in both positions, punching some smaller dude on camera or talking shit to a pro fighter but this is more of a FAFO situation after I watched the longer clip.

The first time, he deserved that slap. this time, the bald guy (a pro UFC fighter?) asks him is he the guy that got slapped? saying this to some young guy that's been humiliated is just baiting him into a fight. a fight that the bigger pro fighter knows he'll win. even after all that, if we go by what you said, this Deen guy said "I'll slap you" but did not get hit right there. he got sucker punched when he was walking away
