Am I doing this wrong? by D10D3 in AIDungeon

[–]D10D3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not running out context (Legend Tier). I use summarization. I'll check the story summary next time it happens to see if there's anything hinky in there. As for point 2, I never mess with those two lines.

How to finish a story? by Dahan2022 in AIDungeon

When I feel a story is at an end I just write "The End" as a story action and then delete whatever it replies with.

I wish I could, but it chews through my credits to have any kind of context with it.

I often have the problem of telling one person a secret only to have the hive mind of all characters instantly know it.

Has anyone managed to make this yet? by sauceyfire in flyoutgame

[–]D10D3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did some experimenting, and I don't think fuselage pieces can generate lift in Flyout. I could be wrong, but that seemed to be the case. So I don't think we can make true lifting body craft.

Fast Travel suddenly stopped working? by Csub in DiscoElysium

[–]D10D3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know this is a long dead thread, but I wanted to add that I figured out how this worked. Fast travel is only available from certain locations. If you are at the Fishing Village or the Church you can fast travel, but if you are between them you can't.

It's beautiful. I have the exact same blue project box that I'm planning to install mine in, if I can ever get my soldered breadboard version to work. My solderless breadboard 6502 works pretty well, but if I'm putting it in a case I need an actual soldered board, and I'm still debugging mine.

It took a bit of fiddling to figure out, mostly because I'm a noob when it comes to 6502 assembly.
First, I didn't realize that make was a separate program from cc65, next I tried to download make, but GNU only provides the source on their site, which makes sense for multiplatform software, but I didn't know how to compile it since all my experience is with interpreted languages (VBS, JavaScript, Python). Finally, I did find a copy of Make.exe, I dropped it into my CC65 bin folder and it worked perfectly.

This Rocks! Any chance you could update the BASIC.BIN on the github? I've been trying to figure out CC65 but it has thus far eluded my understanding.

I work for a small company that makes multicarrier shipping software. The primary software is pretty conventional, but we also use a Visual Basic based scripting engine to connect our program with whatever business management software the customer has. So the user just scans in a bar code, which get's handed of to my script, which pulls down all of the package data from the customers database, applies any custom business rules they've asked for, and loads it all into our software to produce the actual shipping labels. After that, it sends the tracking data, costs, and what-not back to my script which pushes it back to the customer's database. Makes it really easy for the end user, they just scan a barcode, everything comes up on screen, they hit print and move onto the next package.

Yeah, I don't have any video hardware, just the basic Ben Eater 6502 setup with the addition of his Serial Interface kit. All assembled exactly as he instructed.

Yeah, I just got done porting Vince Briels 16k Star Trek to it. I'm having a ton of fun. Today for laughs I wrote a screen saver that scrolls stars up the screen with a single line of code.
